Ways to deal with anemia as a pescatarian?!

Question: Ways to deal with anemia as a pescatarian!?
Recently, I have found myself to be quite anemic and have difficulties knowing how to handle this as a pescatarian!.

I am taking iron supplements and my GP is aware of my situation!. However, mostly I find it difficult to get to the doctors due to work commitments!. Lately, I have found myself at a loss of what to do and have eaten red meat, although I hate it!.

I have heard that there are supplements made for vegetarians which give them vitamins lost by not eating meat!. Is this appropriate for me and what dietary changes would you recommend!?

I currently eat a diet based on mostly vegetables, pulses, dairy products and some fish!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
sounds like your on the right track with the supplement!. Eat a good diet with plenty of iron- beans nuts tofu lentils pulses grains spinach- and it might take a while for your energy levels to return, but I wish you well!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

This sounds like a health question!.!.not a vegetarian question!. No type of vegetarian eats fish!. If a vegetarian eats a healthy balanced diet, supplements are not needed!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
