It's not that hard!.!.After a couple days of not eating meat, you won't crave it!. Sometimes its hard when you go out to eat but you can eat pasta dishes as well as salads, etc!. You should read the book Skinny *****!.!.It talks about how inhumanely they treat animals!.
Good luck with being a veggie!! You'll have more energy, its a really great lifestyle change :-)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Vegans are vegetarians that also do not use any animal products at all for any purpose!.
According to the International Vegetarian Union, "Vegan: excludes animal flesh (meat, poultry, fish and seafood), animal products (eggs and dairy), and usually excludes honey and the wearing and use of animal products (leather, silk, wool, lanolin, gelatin!.!.!.)!. "
According to Wikipedia, "Veganism is a diet and lifestyle that seeks to exclude the use of animals for food, clothing, or any other purpose!."Www@FoodAQ@Com

Vegetarians come in categories!. Lacto-ovo vegetarians consume eggs & milk!. Lacto vegetarians consume milk but no eggs!. Ovo vegetarians eat eggs but don't drink milk!. Then there are pescatarians (also spelled pescetarian) who don't consume meat or animal flesh except for fish!. And they do this due to health reasons or as a stepping stone to becoming vegetarians!.
Many vegetarians do not eat gelatin (contains animal bones) and rennett (inner lining of calf's stomach)!.
Then there are flexitarians!. Describes those who eat a mostly vegetarian diet, but occasionally eat meat!. This is a new concept but it is looked down upon by 'true' vegetarians!.
Vegans ( i have the highest respect for them) do not consume ANY animal product such as honey, milk, leather, rennett, eggs, etc (you get the point -- if it comes from an animal they won't consume it)
Please do not force yourself to be a vegetarian!. Do it only if your heart is in it!. However, if you want to try some 'fake meat' products there are some great products available like Morningstar, Gimme Lean, etc!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Strict vegans don't eat or use any animals or things from animals, often called by-products, such as milk, anything made from milk, eggs, cheese that contains animal rennet, anything (including sweets) that contains animal based gelatine, honey, goods made fom leather or wool!. They choose a life which precludes the explotation of animals!.
The area of vegetarianism is contentious and there are varying labels people apply to the way they choose to eat!. Most people would recognise a vegetarian as someone who may eat animal by products, milk, cheese, eggs, honey etc but no animals - including all birds and sea food!. There are people who call themselves vegetarian but say they eat chicken and or fish!. Personally I wouldn't count either as vegetarian!.
The way you eat and the choices you make depend on several factors including, conscience, culture, finance and health (i!.e!. gluten, lactose intolerance)!. I'm not a vegetarian or vegan (although I have been) but I make a conscious choice to eat animals that I know have been properly taken care of or are wild and am quite prepared to kill an animal, humanely, skin, gut, prepare it and cook it myself!.
If you want to resist eating animals make sure you know how exactly how many billions of animals suffer for humans' convenience and the way they are treated to suit it!. If you eat them do it with respect and a realisation their lives have been sacrificed so you can eat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
