Answers:
There are lot of religions which have eating limitations, For example

Hinduism :Any kind of Meat is forbidden!.

Jainism : Meat, Onions, Garlic Ginger are forbidden!.

Islam : Pork, Any Animal meat which is not slaughtered properly, It is forbidden to eat meat of animals who crawl!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Jews don't eat anything that is not kosher!.

Kosher is a general term meaning something that is fit for Jews to eat!.
There is a list in the Torah of which animals are kosher and which are not!.

Basically, any domestic animal that has cloven hoofs and chews its cud is kosher, such as the cow, goat, sheep, etc!.
Any animal that has only one or neither of those signs is not kosher: pig, hare, lion, cat, etc!.
Even more than that, the animal must be slaughtered in a special way, by a God-fearing Jew who will have the right intentions!. It is the quickest, most painless way to kill an animal, and even if the animal itself would be kosher but it was not slaughtered properly, they still may not eat it!.

Jews also only drink milk/eat dairy products made from the milk of kosher animals!.

They do not mix milk and meat, neither cooking them nor eating them together!.

Kosher fish must have fins and scales!. Any fish without both of those is not kosher!.

As for fowl, most domestic, herbivorous fowl is kosher, such as chicken, turkey, duck, goose, etc!. Carnivorous ones are not!. Again, the Torah gives a list of which fowl may/may not be eaten!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The Seventh Day Adventist church follows the Old Testament teachings about what animals are clean and unclean!. If you have a King James Bible or New King James Bible you can find a detailed account of what is clean and unclean in the book of Deuteronomy!. The Jewish also follows the Old Testament teaching about this!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

????????To me, as a Seventh-day Adventist Christian, health-based dietary restrictions aren't a matter of religion so much as they are a matter of following God's Will!. He is the Creator and, therefore, knows what He designed our bodies to digest safely!. God never changes (Malachi 3:6) and He never goes back on any word that has gone out of His lips (Psalms 89:34)!. Thus, Leviticus 11 is where you'll find the distinctions given between clean and unclean flesh foods!.

● Land animals: It must both chew the cud and have a cloven hoof!. Thus, this excludes camel, pig, rabbit, etc;
● Land insects: All insects are unclean except for (apparently, yuck!) locusts (not cicadas), crickets, and grasshoppers;
● Sea animals: It must both have scales and have fins!. Thus, this excludes catfish, shellfish, shark, etc; and,
● Air animals: It must not be a bird of prey or a scavenger!.

????????Even then, though, of all those fish, birds, and animals which are considered "clean" to eat, they must be prepared without the blood and the fat or even *they* are unclean for consumption!. Thus, all meats which you can buy in American restaurants and stores are unclean and not fit for food!.

????????One final note, though!.!.!. Flesh foods were added to man's diet after the Great Flood (Genesis 9:1-4) in order to further shorten man's life and reduce his intellect!. Thus, there is actually an even better diet, which God gave man originally, and which did not include flesh foods at all!. The Garden of Eden diet (i!.e!., pre-sin) included only fruits, grains, and nuts (Genesis 1:29)!. Then, after sin, God added vegetables to our diet (Genesis 3:18) to help fight off diseases which came as a result of sin!. So, if you want to increase your intellect (Daniel 1; "pulse" = vegetables) and lengthen your life, you'll eliminate the flesh foods and stick to fruits, grains, nuts, and vegetables!.

God bless!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
