Answers:
Beans and greens!. Spinach, kale, collards, black beans, chickpeas, kidney beans!. Blackstrap molasses also has iron!.

For a simple side dish: lightly toast pine nuts or other nuts in a dry skillet and remove!. Add a dab of olive oil to the hot skillet and toss in some greens!. Cover and leave long enough to wilt, about one minute or so!. Remove from the pan, put in a serving dish, splash with a bit of lemon juice, and sprinkle on the pine nuts!.

You can use raw spinach in a salad--just throw in lots of other veggies and something fruity, such as mandarin orange slices or strawberries!. If it's too much, mix the spinach with romaine lettuce to cut any potential bitterness!.

You want to eat your non-heme (vegetable) iron with foods rich in vitamin C to increase absorption!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
