Ideas for a low fat/cal vegetable dip!

Question: Ideas for a low fat/cal vegetable dip
I was thinking something with soysauce as the main ingredient since soysauce is low in cals!. What could I add to it for a yummy veggie dip!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
This doesn't have soysause but my family has always loved it!.
I put 16 oz of lowfat cottage cheese in the blinder with a Ranch Dressing Dip Mix packet!.

If you want something along the line of soysauce, try balsamic vinigar!. I can't get enough of this stuff on tomatoes, onions, or bell peppers!.

I am also thinking about trying malt vinigar on veges!.

Another Tip that I found on YA is mixing mayo with lowfat plain yogart to lower the cals!. It's even good on sandwiches!.

Here's a few tasty and relatively low cal ideas:

-To the soysauce add in 1/2 tsp!. of toasted sesame oil ( a little of this goes a long way and a lot of flavor is added), 1/4 C!. chopped green onions, 1 tsp!. grated ginger!. This will be tasty but not the traditional veg!. dip most people think about!.

"French onion veg!. dip"
-Combine 1 c!. low/non-fat yogurt & combine it with 1/2 C!. roasted garlic (chopped) or 1/2 pkg!. of Lipton's onion soup mix & 1/2 C!. chopped green onions or chives!. If you prefer dill instead of onion & garlic, you can substitute 1 T!. of fresh chopped dill weed!.

"Italian style bread & veg!. dip"
Combine 1 C!. extra virgin olive oil, 1 T!. balsamic vinegar, 1-2 cloves of chopped garlic, sea salt & fresh cracked pepper to taste!. Optional: add in some chopped sun dried tomato pcs!.

It doesn't have soy sauce, but why don't you try using salsa as a dip!? It's fat free and fairly low in calories!.

In small portions, hummus is also a good dip for veggies!. It has no sat fat!. But a little goes a long way!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I like to mix veganaise or nayonaise with spicy brown mustard!. Maybe you could try that!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
