Would PETA get upset if....?!

Question: Would PETA get upset if!.!.!.!.!?
people started eating insects on a regular basis or do you think that they wouldn't be upset because they are just insects and not animals!? Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
technically insects are animals!. i think they would make fantastic food sources for the majortiy of the world, and are eaten in most of it!.

if any vegan responds that thats cruel, your a hypocrite!. everone has swatted a mosquito, killed a fly, etc!.

to the peta member whose name i cant type: correct me if im wrong, but peta did flip out at a certain theme park game where if you ate a cockroach you got to skip in line (or something along those lines)
secondly, what do you mean by "thats for other countries", so, going against your own organization you say that americans should not begin exploring alternative food sources!? you sir, are a hypocrite!.

Insects ARE in fact animals!.
Ecdysozoa

The Ecdysozoa are protostomes, named after the common trait of growth by moulting or ecdysis!. The largest animal phylum belongs here, the Arthropoda, including insects, spiders, crabs, and their kin!. All these organisms have a body divided into repeating segments, typically with paired appendages!. Two smaller phyla, the Onychophora and Tardigrada, are close relatives of the arthropods and share these traits!.

The ecdysozoans also include the Nematoda or roundworms, the second largest animal phylum!. Roundworms are typically microscopic, and occur in nearly every environment where there is water!. A number are important parasites!. Smaller phyla related to them are the Nematomorpha or horsehair worms, and the Kinorhyncha, Priapulida, and Loricifera!. These groups have a reduced coelom, called a pseudocoelom!.

The remaining two groups of protostomes are sometimes grouped together as the Spiralia, since in both embryos develop with spiral cleavage!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

PETA is an organization!. Organizations do not have emotions, so "getting upset" is not something PETA can do!.

I imagine that PETA would condemn the eating of insects if those insects were being unnaturally raised for food!. Vegans don't eat honey and bees are insects!. So I believe the organization would protest the eating of insects!.

Personally, I wouldn't want to eat them!. I hear they taste revolting!. But it would be fair revenge since they will eat ME when I die!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

why would they NOT be upset!? They ARE animals!. And packing tens of millions of insects into bins for quick growth just to be eaten!? I'm a PETA member (among many other groups), and vegetarian!. And I have gone out of my way to NOT kill insects (step on, squash etc!.!.!.) there are many non-lethal ways of dealing with any problem they may cause!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Anyone who judges a organization that is here to protect the innocent from being tortured has a serious problem!. Don't judge those who want peace in the world!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Insects are animals!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

INSECTS ARE ANIMALS!
LMAOWww@FoodAQ@Com

Probably they would!. Hey, insects are people too you know!Www@FoodAQ@Com

lol that is a good question, maybe it depends on what type of insects!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

people for the ethical treatment of ANIMALS!. not insects!. that means all they care about is animals!. no one cares about insects and almost no one in this country eats insects regularly!. thats for other countries!.

and PETA doesn't always get upset about eating animals!. Some eat meat themselves, its all about TREATING animals ethically like the way animals are killed in the process of making meats!. they dont care about ANYTHING pertaining to animals except the way that they are TREATED!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Lets you and I go sit in their front door and eat grasshoppers just to see their response!. It should be that all life is equal but I doubt that they would see it that way!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Why would it bother them!?
Doesn't PETA stand for People Eating Tasty Animals!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

im sure they would! insects are animals by the way!. peta is insane!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
