Egg products?? (Read Description)?!

Question: Egg products!?!? (Read Description)!?
Okay, I have been a Lacto-Ovo Vegetarian for 6 months, and I was thinking it might be time to be a Lacto-Vegetarian, which means cutting eggs out!. (ethical reasons) Any Ideas!?!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
I think it's great that you're considering a lacto-vegetarian diet!. About 95% of eggs in the U!.S!. come from factory farms, where egg-laying hens are so intensively confined that they can't flap their wings!. The hens are denied everything that is natural or pleasurable to them!. Just one egg represents over 24 hours of confinement to a battery cage, so cutting eggs out of your diet would prevent a lot of suffering!.

1!. Animal fat causes heart disease
2!. a lacto vegetarian will only eat dairy products
3!. "A B12 deficiency develops slowly (over a period of five years usually), but causes irreversible damage to the brain and nerve tissue,"
4!. a B12 deficiency is a serious problem for pregnant women, who can pass it to the infant and cause irreversible damage!.

good idea, why not just go vegan!? I've been vegetarian since I was 10 (now I'm 26) and vegan for six years, it isn't much more difficult just gotta be creative with what you eat/and how you eat it!.

If it's for ethical reasons, you should definitely just become vegan and omit all animal products from your diet!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm a vegan and I've been vegetarian for 2 years now just turned 14 and I think it's a great idea for you to cut eggs out but you should also think about going vegan =^!.!.^= good luck Www@FoodAQ@Com
