Answers:
One thing that many people don't realize or understand is that there are different types of vegetarians!. Each individual vegetarian has his or her own personal reasons for choosing their diet, and these reasons determine exactly what foods they eliminate!. Although a few different reasons and motivations are described in the Why!? section, below is just a brief definition of each type of vegetarian!.

* Total Vegetarians eat only plant food!. They do not eat any animal foods, including fish, eggs, dairy products, and honey!.
* Vegans not only omit all animal products from their diets, but they also eliminate them from the rest of their life!. Vegans use nothing from animals, such as leather, wool, and silk!.
* Lacto-Vegetarians will include dairy products into their diet of plant food!.
* Lacto-Ovo-Vegetarians eat both eggs and dairy products!.
* Pesco-Vegetarians include fish into their diets!.
* Pollo-Vegetarians eat poultry, such as chicken, turkey, and duck!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

There are only 3 types of vegetarian!.

Lacto vegetarians- abstain from consuming meat, gelatin, and eggs, but will consume dairy!.

Ovo vegetarians- Abstain from consuming meat, gelatin, and dairy, but will consume eggs!.

Veg@ns- Abstain from eating and wearing all animal products!. Veg@ns don't eat meat, dairy, eggs, honey, or gelatin and don't wear anything like silk, fur, or leather!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Pescatarian (also spelled pescetarian)
The word “pescatarian” is occasionally used to describe those who abstain from eating all meat and animal flesh with the exception of fish!. Although the word is not commonly used, more and more people are adopting this kind of diet, usually for health reasons or as a stepping stone to a fully vegetarian diet!.

Flexitarian/Semi-vegetarian
You don’t have to be vegetarian to love vegetarian food! “Flexitarian” is a term recently coined to describe those who eat a mostly vegetarian diet, but occasionally eat meat!.

Lacto-ovo- vegetarian
When most people think of vegetarians, they think of lacto-ovo-vegetarians!. People who do not eat beef, pork, poultry, fish, shellfish or animal flesh of any kind, but do eat eggs and dairy products are lacto-ovo vegetarians (“lacto” comes from the Latin for milk, and “ovo” for egg)!.

Lacto-vegetarian is used to describe a vegetarian who does not eat eggs, but does eat dairy products!.

Ovo-vegetarian refers to people who do not eat meat or dairy products but do eat eggs!.

Vegan
Vegans do not eat meat of any kind and also do not eat eggs, dairy products, or processed foods containing these or other animal-derived ingredients such as gelatin!. Many vegans also refrain from eating foods that are made using animal products that may not contain animal products in the finished process, such as sugar and some wines!. There is some debate as to whether certain foods, such as honey, fit into a vegan diet!.5!. Raw vegan/Raw food diet
A raw vegan diet consists of unprocessed vegan foods that have not been heated above 115 degrees Fahrenheit (46 degrees Celsius)!. “Raw foodists” believe that foods cooked above this temperature have lost a significant amount of their nutritional value and are harmful to the body!.

Macrobiotic
The macrobiotic diet, revered by some for its healthy and healing qualities, includes unprocessed vegan foods, such as whole grains, fruits and vegetables, and allows the occasional consumption of fish!. Sugar and refined oils are avoided!. Perhaps the most unique qualifier of the macrobiotic diet is its emphasis on the consumption of Asian vegetables, such as daikon, and sea vegetables, such as seaweed!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You avoid all animal flesh and slaughterhouse by products but may choose to eats eggs and dairy if you want!.

Just to clarify: A pescetarian is not any type of vegetarian!. There is no such thing as a semi-vegetarian!. There is no such thing as a chicken eating vegetarian either (I hate when people cut and paste wrong information on topics they know nothing about)

No vegetarian eats flesh!.!.ever!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

First start with limiting the amount of red meat that you eat (that's the worst for you anyway)!. Soon after that you will start to see it will lose it's appeal anyway!. Then slowly cut out the poultry!. If you decide to keep eating fish (it's very very good for the human body and brian) keep meals with tuna and salmon, and of course any other kind of fish!. Tofu and Soy is a great alternative!. It's loaded with protein and tastes awsome!. Remember though, take vitamins!. Us veggies do lose nutition if we're not careful!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
