Feeling guilty about food?!

Question: Feeling guilty about food!?
I have been on a low calorie diet for the last two months, eating no more than 1300 calories everyday, but lately, I have been feeling insatiable hunger every night, that just gets more and more uncontrollable every night, and a few minutes ago, I felt so hungry that I went through a crazy binge session and had 4 cookies (200 calories altogether), left overs of pork slices (about a hand full , estimating 400 calories) and a bag of potato chips (estimating 250 calories) which all adds up to a crazy 850 calories!.
Right now I am feeling disgusted with myself, and I want to know what I can do right now to burn off the calories!. I want to know how this might affect my diet!.
Its 4 in the morning, but I dont want to go to bed, because Im afaid I will just get fat!.
What can I do!?!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Stop being rediculous!.!.!.you a ren't going to ruin your diet or (get fat) from that!. Just start over in the morning and don't punish yourself over it, everyone working on losing weight does tha sometimes!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

it probably wont affect your diet, its perfectly normal to eat 2000 calories and still lose weight
if you don't sleep your body will need more energy tomorrow, so you will have worse cravings
you need to sleep well
and make sure you eat a well balanced diet (1300 calories doesn't sound like a healthy diet)
if you feel obsessive about not going to bed perhaps you should see a specialist, it sounds like you have an addiction to staying thin, an eating disorder perhapsWww@FoodAQ@Com

Oh no you're not one of these size 4 people are you!?

My sister hates the sight of food and its not good for you

If you had ate normally and give your body the calories it need and burned through the day you wouldntve binged

treat this as a setback and just eat healthy from now on

i bet your not over weight even

Do the 90/10 rule!. 90% of the time eat really healthy!. 10% eat what you want (unhealthy!.) It works if you really are eating healthy good 90% of the time and you don't binge eat!. Your body does need fat to function!. It went on emergency mode!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Calories give you energy and the ammount of food that has only 1300 is not a lot so your stomach is running on low!. Not much you can do except exorcise!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

when your hungy dont eat bad stuff like that eat something healthy and full of protein like nuts, lean meat or salad, also just try to keep up a good cardio workout (running) and this will keep you from feeling this way!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

FART!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Play some sport and you can eat normal foods without worrying about gaining weight!. I'd rather do that than deprive myself of good foods!. Biking or even walking for an hour burns off hundreds of calories!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

What can you do!? Ask this in the diet and fitness section!. This is the vegetarian section!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

to burn of those calories may take some time!. a good idea is to go for a nice run of bike ride everyday Www@FoodAQ@Com

1300 calories is way too short a diet!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

well i hear 30 mins of sex burns off 300 calories lol !. otherwise if ur that worried !.!.!. do sum situps !.!.!. but i think if u slip up once that u will be fine Www@FoodAQ@Com

Don't beat yourself up over a binge!. Let's look at the reason for it so it doesn't happen again!. First, you are hungry so you probably need to increase your calories!. Try eating your weight in pounds times ten (so if you weigh 135lbs it would be 1350 calories) plus one of these: 200 for very little activity during the day, 300 for a fairly active day but no strenuous workout, or 450 calories if you are working out hard!. That means if you are 135 lbs and moving around instead of sitting at a desk all day, but skipping your workout, you should be eating 1650 calories!. Of course, it is also what you eat and when!. Since you are hungry at night, try adding a little more lean protein to dinner, or after dinner, go for a walk & then have some protein for a snack, like a little peanut butter or a few slices of turkey rolled up!. Be sure you are spreading your meals out into 5 or 6 instead of just 3!.

also, every once in a while, go ahead and have a treat!. My favorite is Starbucks and so I have a no dairy coffee drink once a week!. (OK, sometimes two, but I don't beat myself up over it, I just go do a little more activity to counter it)!.

Blow off your binging- you might actually see that it helps in the long run!. Your body thought there was some kind of famine cause you weren't feeding it!. Now it thinks you hit the jackpot, so it will burn up those calories pretty fast!. Don't forget to eat!!! It is important!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

If your on a strict diet all the time, then this little slip up shouldn't do anything to your progress!. I've heard that it takes ur body 2-3 days to actually form fat, so if u work off those 800 calories or so a day or two after the binge, you should be fine!. I know 800 calories seems like a lot, and you feel gross after doing it (trust me, ive done the same thing before), but even if u get a good workout in that burns half the amount of calories, you'll be set!.

Many people on diets have 1 cheat say a week, where they can literally eat whatever they want, and they still lose weight!. One author, Tim Ferris, eats junk to the point of sickness 1 day a week because he says that the calorie shock to his body keeps his metabolism going, instead of plateauing as a result of calorie restriction!.

Next time you feel the hunger at night, try and have something sweet, but low in calories like a piece of fruit and then a glass of water!. If that won't satisfy you, a glass of chocolate milk (with skim milk) is not high in calories and will curb your appetite!. You can even have a "bad" snack like 1 cookie as long as you have a glass of water after and leave the kitchen to get your mind off another snack!. If you eat slow and actually taste the food, you'll see that your cravings will pass!. If you deprive yourself, you run the risk of binging again!. A small 150 good-tasting snack won't kill your diet, as long as you don't do it every night!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

first of all next time you feel that way just get a spoon full of honey, may sound gross but i have found that my hunger sometimes will not go away because of my craving for sweets and once the honey gets the sugar you will not feel hungry or your body will at least feel satisfied, or if you are worried about the calorie issue there just drink/chug water, it will fill your stomach and fill you up!.!.!. as for the calories already in your system, use a sana, running, or the funnest way!.!.!. sex, it releases stress, burns more calories than anything else and faster, and it makes everyone happy!.!.!. :-)Www@FoodAQ@Com
