Answers:
of course it is!. Theres no need to stop eating meat, its just that americans tend to eat it in abnormally large portions and its completely unnecessary!.

For example, theres no freakin need to eat a pepperoni & sausage pizza, and then have hot wings with it, and yet people do it all the time

as a rule, you shouldnt be eatin more than 8oz of meat, or 10oz fish in one meal, and you dont need more than 3 servings of meat in a day!. Which doesnt sound like much, but remember that 8oz is about half a pound, so eatin a 10oz steak is more or less like eatin 3 quarter-pounders!.

also, the quality of meat is important!. Lean cuts of red meat like lamb, goat and bison are actually better for your body, and taste WAY better than beef, and is better for the environment as well!. If possible, order grilled chicken rather than pork or steak, and try to avoid processed meats like hot dogs, bologna, salami, sausage, etc!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Excellent source of complete proteins
A high-protein diet based on lean red meat has been shown to help weight loss

Risks:
An increased risk of bowel cancer was found for people who ate more than two servings of red meat per week!.
The Mediterranean diet, which is low in red meat, has been shown to decrease the risk of Alzheimer's disease
Excessive amounts of red meat can lead to a higher risk of osteoporosis due to an acid byproduct from digesting very large amounts of protein!.
Eating red meat every day can double the risk of Arthritis
Red meat is high in saturated fat and cholesterol
A recent study found that rating more than one serving of red meat per day can double the risk of breast cancer, especially in young women!.

It's fine but you won't be a vegetarian after you eat meat!.Just be careful,my sister was a vegetarian for four years and just recently started eating meat and ate to much,so she was "tossing cookies"all night!.If you're going to introduce it do it slowly, with easy digestible things like small amounts at a time!.
