I need a good recipe for a dairy free dessert!. It has to be completely free of all dairy!.

Black Bean Brownies

INGREDIENTS (Nutrition)
1 (15!.5 ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained
3 eggs
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1 pinch salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon instant coffee (optional)
1/2 cup milk chocolate chips (optional)

DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)!. Lightly grease an 8x8 square baking dish!.

Combine the black beans, eggs, oil, cocoa powder, salt, vanilla extract, sugar, and instant coffee in a blender; blend until smooth; pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish!. Sprinkle the chocolate chips over the top of the mixture!.

Bake in the preheated oven until the top is dry and the edges start to pull away from the sides of the pan, about 30 minutes!.


Basil-lime sorbet

INGREDIENTS (Nutrition)
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
3/4 cup fresh lime juice
20 fresh basil leaves, minced

DIRECTIONS
Make a simple syrup by bringing the sugar and water to a boil in a small saucepan; allow to boil 1 minute; remove from heat!.

Combine the syrup, lime juice, and basil in a blender; puree!. Pour the mixture into a container and cover; store in freezer until completely frozen, about 2 hours!.

Break the frozen mixture into pieces and place in the blender; blend until smooth!. Return to the container and cover!. Store in freezer until ready to serve!.


Gone with the Wind Cake

INGREDIENTS (Nutrition)
3/4 cup water
3 egg whites
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 3/4 cups cake flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 egg yolks


DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)!.

Beat cold water and egg yolks together until mixture makes 1 quart - at least 10 minutes!. Slowly add sugar and vanilla to egg yolk mixture, beating for at least 7 minutes!.

Sift the flour, baking powder and salt together!. Fold into the egg yolk mixture!.

Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form and fold in smoothly to the egg yolk mixture!. Pour batter into an ungreased 9 or 10 inch tube pan!.

Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 50 minutes!. Turn upside down to cool in pan for 1 hour!. Loosen sides and coax from pan!. May be cut into layers and filled with Lemon Filling and iced with the same or with whipped cream!.

1 lg!. strawberry Jello Mix
1/2 pt!. whipping cream
1 (9 inch) graham cracker pie crust
12 fresh strawberries or 1 sm!. pkg!. frozen strawberries
1/2 c!. crushed walnuts

1!. Mix Jello Mix according to package directions!.
2!. Refrigerate until slightly hardened!.

3!. Remove from refrigerator and add the whipped whipping cream and put in 9 inch graham cracker pie crust!. Garnish with crushed walnuts and strawberries and refrigerate unitil hard!.

This is by far the easiest and most satisfying I had come across with!. Hope you'll find them okey!.

Vegan Crème Au Café (Vegan Coffee Blanc-Mange)

? cup soymilk
? cup strong coffee cold
1 2/3 tbsp cornstarch
1 2/3 tbsp coldwater
1 2/3 tbsp organic sugar
1/3 tsp vanilla extract
1/3 pinch salt

1!. In a pot over medium-low heat, put the soymilk, the coffee, the sugar and the pinch of salt!.
2!. In a small bowl, whisk the cornstarch with the cold water!. Add to the pot!.
3!. Cook, stirring constantly for 15 to 20 minutes!.
4!. Add the vanilla!.
5!. Lightly oil a mold in a fancy shape!.
6!. Put the mixture in the mold!. Let cool then refrigerate for at least 2 hours!.
