Help, vegetarians at risk?!
I've been told this;
""""flax is fantastic!.
it’s short chain omega-3s though, so it only does so much!.
i believe it doesn’t help as a mood stabiliser, for memory or as an immune system boost,
where as the long chain omega 3’s found in fish do!.""""
Is she right!? Is there any information which would explain this!? or am I missing out as a vegan!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
The best vegetarian source for Omega 3 fatty acids is marine phytoplankton which are single-cell algae found in our oceans!. They are totally vegetarian and are available in supplement form as Neurogen DHA by Genestra Brands!.
These microscopic organisms are nature's superfood and have amazing effects on human health, including but not limited to the central nervous system!.
Phytoplankton contains almost every element you need for sustaining life: Contains nine essential AMINO ACIDS: Essential FATTY ACIDS including Omega 3 & 6; Vitamins A,B,C,D; Macro and trace minerals are contained in phytoplankton all in a balanced natural bioavailable form!.
I would encourage any vegetarian of vegan who wants a vegetarian alternative to fish oil, which is superior in every way to go to the link below and to listent to the podcast by a Marine Phytoplankton Health Expert - Dr!. Jerry Tennant!. What I found really interesting is the effect phytoplankton can have on the body's PH as well as the nervous system!. Here's the link:
