Answers:
Cut out the caffiene!. I'm also vegan and have suffered from acid reflux/heartburn for years!. Just recently I cut out all caffiene (coffee, tea, soda, energy drinks) and I feel amazing!. Not only is my acidic upset stomach gone, but I also have a lot more natural energy and a better overall sense of well being!. I'd also beware of acidic foods like tomatoes, onions, and garlic!. Adding probiotics to your diet can also help with digestion issues!. I suggest GoodBelly!. Good luck and I hope your wife feels better pronto!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I have suffered from acid reflux for years and been on every med you can imagine!. What has worked for me is eliminating coffee (huge) and eating small meals!. I mean REALLY small!. When it flairs up really bad, I drink organic, unfiltered apple cider vinegar!. Take a large tablespoon (you can mix it with water if it's too intense), wait a few moments, then take another!. I doubted it would work, but was amazed at the results!. I rarely need it now that I watch my food intake carefully!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
