Healthy vegetarian lunch?!

Question: Healthy vegetarian lunch!?
I need ideas for a healthy vegetarian lunch, but i am quite fussy with foods and don't want to have a salad every day!.

I don't like bread (so no sandwiches, baguettes, croissants etc)!.
I hate cheese, mushrooms, eggs, onions, peppers, tomatoes, potatoes, anything spicy or creamy!.

So, does anyone have any suggestions!? also, i need breakfast ideas too!. I don't really like cereal, but once or twice a week is ok, but nothing with raisins!. I don't like cereal bars or omelette's, porridge/ oatmeal makes me feel sick and i don't want fruit for breakfast!.

Thanks:)Www@FoodAQ@Com

I love Greek yogurt for breakfast OR lunch! I am having some for lunch today!.

You can flavor it any way you want, I usually use honey, but I've also used peanut putter, nutella, and even chocolate syrup!. It's all good with nuts and granola on top!.

Pop it in the freezer for about an hour before you eat and it's like having ice cream for lunch! Yum!

I think you should try it, because it sounds like your diet is lacking in protein!. One serving of Greek yogurt has only about 120 calories and 15 grams of protein!.

I know it's "creamy," but how can you not love a food that is pretty much ice cream AND is healthy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Hi!.

I can see that with all the things you have left out of your diet, you probably consume more meat than a meat-eater!. That means consuming un-needed protein which is very unhealthy!.

Anyway, choosing a Vegetarian lifestyle is an extremely good choice!. A vegan one is even better!. Vegetarianism/Veganism will get your body working properly and healthy!. However, I am worried that with all these things that you want to leave out of your diet, then you will have quite a harder time in changing into a vegetarian!.

So, to answer your question!.!.!.

There is a website called www!.goveg!.com!. It has a lot of information on pretty much ANYTHING vegetarian/vegan you want!. Even tips on changing from meat-eater to plant-based diet!.

Here, check this specific link:

http://www!.vegcooking!.com/veganMenus!.asp

It has whole menus for a 2 week sample vegetarian/vegan diet!. For every meal that it will say, you will be able to read the recipe!. It's a great website!.

I advice that you should try and follow that diet for 2 weeks and see how it fits!. Sure, if you go out it will be harder to choose something to eat, but you will be able to find something!.

By the way, I see that you listed out of your diet cheese, eggs and anything "creamy"!. That is good and it will help you choosing a vegan lifestyle as you already don't consume cheese, eggs and creamy stuff (which are actually milk)!.

Wishing you the best of luck! The Vegetarian/Vegan society wants more members!

Have fun and healthy eating!
