Question: BBQ Ideas for Vegetarians!?!? !?
I'm hosting my daughter's birthday party at a park for our close family and friends!. We're going to be BBQ-ing hot dogs and hamburgers, but 4 members of our family are vegetarians!

So I need some good BBQ ideas for vegetarians!.!.!. like which brand name of veggie-burgers are good barbecued, and any other vegetarian foods that are good, cheap and easy to BBQ at a park!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Grilled portebella mushrooms, they are large, about the size of your palm!. Brush with olive oil, season (I love garlic salt and pepper)!. If they eat cheese, you can put some on--just like a burger--and they can even eat them on a bun loaded up with fresh veggie toppings!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Boca and Garden Burger has some good burgers!.? However you need to make sure you have plenty of garnishes!.? The best place to look for ideas is at Whole Foods!.? They have a meat alternative section!.? In our store its by all the burgers!.? You can replace all the real meat with alternative meat!.? Make sure you separate the grill for one side meat and the other alternative!.? Or if you can have 2 different grills!.? Most vegetarians understand that there will be meat eaters at gatherings and sometimes will bring a vegetarian dish!.? Don't be afraid to ask what they want or to contribute!.? We like to BBQ whole portobello mushrooms (brush with olive oil; sprinkle with oregano & garlic salt) and just put them on buns with lettuce, tomato & onion slices:) Easy to do, and don't have all those preservatives that are in "fake meat"!.!.!.!. You can also slice zucchini, crookneck squash or bell peppers in half; brush with olive oil & sprinkle with a little oregano & garlic salt, and grill them on both sides!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

cut up your faveoutrite vegetables and then slide them onto a skewer
if you want add a little olive oil and salt for seasoning and then grill until they look cooked

i like to use red and green peppers because they turn out really well

As well as Portabellas, try some eggplant, sliced about 1/2 inch thick, tofu also works pretty well on the bbq grill, but be sure and use a firm variety!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
