You can acquire a taste to just about anything! Trust me! I was in the army!
Use a generous amount of your preferred dressing and throw in some croutons or some almonds or cashews!.
After a little time you should get more used to the salad and be able to eat it with less and less dressing on it!.

You don't have to like salads to be a successful vegetarian!. I doubt I've eaten 20 salads in the last 20 years!. There's a huge variety of tasty vegetarian dishes, raw and cooked, to choose from!.
That said, try different vegetables on their own, to see what you like!. Slice some cucumbers, tomatoes, cabbage, lettuce, celery, carrots, etc!.
Maybe it's the dressing you don't like!? Try just a little pepper and oil on a bowl of mixed veggies!. Add some crushed nuts like almonds!.
Once you know what you like, you can order the kind of salad you prefer!.

Try adding new things to your salad to make them more interesting!. Figure out which vegetables you like - carrots, cucumbers, brocolli, tomatoes, chick peas etc!. and include these in your salads over other vegetables you dont prefer as much!. Try adding new things to your salads such a toasted almonds, mandarin oranges, pistachios, croutons, etc!. also experiment with different salad dressings whether it be oil and vinegar, vinaigrettes or creamy dressings!.
I wouldnt approach it as making yourself eat sometime that you dont like, rather figure out the things that you Do like and add those to your salads instead!. That way, it will be something you enjoy and will want to eat!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

I found that when I first started eating more vegetables that they were flavourless!. I discovered that this was because of at least a couple reasons:
the were not fresh
there were not organic
my taste buds were used to lots of salt, sugar, sauces, artificial flavour, etc!.
So, it took awhile, about a year, after starting to eat healthier, to start to be able to taste the subtle flavours of fruits, vegetables, and even herbal teas etc!. Then I found that organic foods tastes SO much better!. In fact, I know people that eat organic food simply because it tastes better, not for health reasons etc!.
Then, I discovered gardening, and how the exact same vegetable straight from the garden, tastes just about 100 times better than the one from the store!. Case in point, I had some organic potatoes, and I didn't eat the whole bag and let some get old and start to sprout!. Stuck them in the garden!. Later, when they were ready to dig up and eat, wow! They tasted SO much better than when I had bought them from the store!.!.!. I could just eat these potatoes without anything on them!.!.!. just cook and eat, no sauce or anything!. Freshness is very much connected to flavour!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm a meat eater and I eat a big salad almost every day at dinner!. I use lettuce (usually iceberg or romaine), green and red sweet peppers, cucumber, radishes, scallions, avocado, tomato, and I add salt, pepper, tarragon, and garlic, and toss with wine vinegar and olive oil!. It's delightful!.
I also like raw carrots, cabbage hearts, avocados, and many other crunchies!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Add things to your salad that you love!. Try out different dressings, croutons, and meats!. I love crispy chicken salads with honey mustard dressing!. As for the regular veggies you're not alone in that!. A lot of people can't stand to eat them raw!. Try steaming them and adding butter and lemon pepper seasoning!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
