I have a similar problem!. Not as severe as you, but I'm still tired most of the time and sleep has nothing to do with it!. The answers to my question might help you out:

I'm trying to eat more iron-rich foods and next time I go to the store I'm going to look for iron supplements!. I also haven't been taking B12 everyday, so I'm going to start taking that and a multivitamin and see if that helps!. I hope you feel better! Www@FoodAQ@Com

Try loading up on massive amount of tofu!. Soy, such as tofu, is the only complete source of protein from plants and it will give you the necessary energy!. If you are NOT a vegan, just a vegetarian, then you can add dairy to your diet, such as milk and cheese, and it will also give you some energy!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

I felt like that and thought it was the diet too!. I quit smoking and now I feel great all the time!. I don't know if you smoke but if you do, quit, lol!. I also take B12 everyday and drink two cups of coffee!. And I drink water non-stop!. And the B12 was only 2 dollars and some change, so try that out!. Hope you feel better!. :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

If your anemic you need your iron!
If your having difficulty getting it into your diet take suppliments!. They are relativily easy to buy and when taken properly can really help!

Foods high in iron include dried fruits, iron fortified cereal, nuts, dark leafy veg!.

go to your health food store and get some b-12!. most times when vegetarians are really tired it is due to lack of b-12 and if you don't have enough b-12 in your body you could have a type of anemia!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Your tired because your anemic!. Your trolling the v/v forum or your you need to find a new doctor!. A good doctor would of prescribed an Iron supplement!. A balanced vegan diet will not make one anemic, so something else is going on!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You need to take Vitamin B12
either consume foods enriched with B12
or take B12 supplements!.

maybe you go to sleep to late or if u sleep alot during the day!.!.!.and rings can be minimized by cutting patatoes into rings and placing over the eyes like cutcumbers !. i saw this on tv once

I would really go to a dietician or a doctor just to make sure there are no more serious problems!. maybe more vitamins!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

You might want to eat more fish!. They are loaded with protein and omega 3 and 6!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

you should really try to get active because being active lets you have more energyWww@FoodAQ@Com

I don't know how much help I can be as I'm a meat eater, but I can relate to the tiredness problem, (different Reason I'm sure), but if you are anemic you really need to up your iron, tablets or plenty of green leafy vegetables and probably vitamin b12!. I don't know much about a veggie diet but I know that lacking in those two things can contribute to tiredness!. also, I know you don't want to hear this, but really for your own health's sake, a visit to the doc and some blood tests really would be best!. It's all good and well to get advice from us but your doc would know your medical history for a start and I would hate to give advice and it end up hurting some-one!. So please if you can, I know its expensive but try and put some money away and see your doc!. good luckWww@FoodAQ@Com

Try to get a B12 shot or two!. They help and shouldn't cost the earth!. Then keep on supplements of B12 or B complex and Iron and Vitamin C!.
You can get organic and herbal iron supplements in health stores or you can take Ferrum sulphate I think from the chemist!. It depletes vitamin E and makes you constipated sometimes though but it works quicker!. You have to take Vit E with it!.
Foods high in Iron also include molasses which is not so expensive!. If you eat sundried apricots, raisins and prunes you get some iron too!. It is important to get aenough Vitamin C for the better absorption of Iron!. Don't neglect this!. You can take as much ascorbic acid as will not give you diarrhea!.
Moong beans, cooked or sprouted are also helpful!. Try to eat them daily!. In poor countries like India where most people have always been vegetarian, the staple diet is rice and cooked moong!.
Try to check out other complicated reasons why you are tired!. It may not be only anemia!. You can check for parasites, candida, heavy metal or chemical toxicity etc!. If you have any of them you will need to follow special guidelines to get rid of them too!. I suggest internet searches as there is a lot of info about that!. Or ask another question here!.
Be aware of whether any allopathic medication you are on could also be complicating it by making you tired!.
I take an iron supplement myself of herbs with no alchohol or sugar in it!. I get it from New Zealand and it has Blackberry, Nettle, Yellow dock and other herbs in it!. You can purchase them as dry herbs yourself to make teas!. And you can get blackberry syrup perhaps!. I don't know about the fresh ones!. Where I used to live they were all sprayed with chemical poisons to kill the plant!.
Do a websearch for foods containing iron!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I was also anemic and I completely understand about being too tired to do anything!. My Dr!. put me on Iron supplements!. I buy them over the counter at BiMart or Walmart!. They say 27 mg on them!. Suggest you get a bottle of them and start taking them!. My Dr!. has me taking 2 a day!. It will probably take a good 10 days before you will feel any better!. Remember, iron can be toxic if you get too much!. If you don't feel better in that amount of time, then perhaps you should see a Dr!. as there are a lot of other things that could be wrong!. Good luck to you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
