Raw Vegans are Raw Foodist, but NOT all Raw Foodists are Raw Vegans!
Raw veganism is a diet which combines veganism and raw foodism!. It excludes all food of animal origin, and all food cooked above 46 degrees Celsius (115 degrees Fahrenheit)!. A raw vegan diet includes raw vegetables and fruits, nuts and nut pastes, grain and legume sprouts, seeds, plant oils, sea vegetables, herbs, and fresh juices!. There are many different versions of the diet, including fruitarianism and sproutarianism!. Sometimes the definition of a raw vegan diet is loosened to include vegan diets with at least 75% raw foods!.
Raw vegans believe that cooking foods destroys almost all healthy enzymes, a large part of vitamins and nutrients, approximately half of the protein content of the food and causes fats to become rancid
Some raw vegans are concerned about deforestation and sustainability, believing the use of wood or fossil fuels for cooking is harmful to the environment!.
Most dedicated followers of a raw vegan diet place importance on spiritual gain!.The raw food movement looks at the way food, living, treatment of the earth, our treatment of each other, and our quest for physical, spiritual, and mental health all fit together!. Therefore, it is also a philosophy!.
Humans, as the only animal to eat cooked food, have by far the longest list of degenerative diseases of any animal!. also, many medical authorities stress the possible lack of vitamins (like B12), enzymes, nutrients and other essential elements IF COOKED WELL!. (At least for this moment of time everyone would agree that is unnatural to cook well the meat neither consume them raw)!.
SHOULD I BE A "RAW FOOD VEGAN"!?

As a raw foodist, I can state with a certain amount of authority that the rumors of this "trend" are greatly exaggerated!. Among those who follow a raw diet, "raw foodist" almost always means "raw vegan!." While I have heard of people who claim to eat raw, and include raw animal products in their diets, I have never met one!.
A raw food diet is all about enzymes and the improved digestion, circulation and elimination a raw diet provides!. Adding animals products, even raw ones, would counter-act all health benefits incurred in the diet!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Vegans probably don't eat raw meat because, duh, it's animal flesh!.
That being said, it's entirely possible to eat raw meat with no ill effects, provided that it is fresh and from a reputable source!. I have eaten raw beef before and it actually agreed better than cooked beef ever has!. Weird, huh!?
That being said, I never wanted to totally forgo cooked meat for raw meat (now I don't eat any) because of the expense and time involved!.
You probably won't find any great answers here!. A huge portion of the people who say, "Ew, no!" will either have never tried it or never have tried prepared raw meat!. (Eating a chunk of raw bacon on a dare is going to produce a different experience from eating properly prepared steak tartar!.) That being said, it's a personal preference!. Not everyone who tries it loves it!. Some people probably hate it, and not just because the idea gives them the willies!.
There is a lower risk of parasites, etc for most raw meat than you might imagine because the people who prepare and consume it know how to do so properly!. They use reputable sources and inspect carefully!. (Many worms are visible to the naked eye!. Gross, huh!?)
Basically, think of raw meat the way you think about wild mushrooms!. If you don't know what you're doing, don't eat it!. You put yourself at risk!. If you want to try it, find someone who is experienced and competent and you probably won't have any problems!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

The only raw meat I would eat (which I eat a lot of for that matter) is meat that has been grass-fed and grass-finished, because it just does not taste all that good cooked through!. Plus, grass-fed animals have a much higher CLA (healthy fat) than grain fed animals & they also have a very high omega-3 fat content as well!
I do love sashimi too (raw fish) and have had no problems with it in the past (knock on wood)!.!.!. and find that fish is extremely healthy, especially uncooked because it holds more of its vitamins, minerals & fats! Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm a vegan, so no I wouldn't eat meat cooked or not!. That would defeat the point of not eating animals!. I won't eat meat no matter how it is cooked or even without cooking it!.
In general, I think eating meat period is gross!.!.!. but eating meat raw is grosser and would lead to more health problems!. There's a reason we cook meat - it's not safe to eat it raw, just as it's not safe to eat raw egg!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

First, no vegan would eat raw meat!.!.!. they dont eat meat period!
But some raw foodists do!. The problem with this philosphy is that it ignores the pathogens present in raw food in our modern world!. Viruses spread far more now with our transported meat!. People who eat meat raw are setting themselves up for lots of potentially deadly food born illnesses!.
My brother in law ate just some undercooked eggs and got a serious virus which could have been fatal had I not known the signs and got him to a hospital!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Back when I ate meat, I would eat beef carpaccio from time to time, and always liked my steak rare!.
I think you would be hard pressed to find a vegan who considered raw meat an exception to not eating animal products being that it goes against the core principle of the lifestyle!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
