Question: What is the best vegan acne treatment that is very accesible!? (and doesnt test on animals)!?
please answer!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
1!. Drink lots of water!.

2!. Eat lots of fruits, veggies, and high fiber foods!.

3!. Keep your fingers off of your pores and pimples!. If you pop, you'll further spread bacteria into your open, oozing pores, making you break out faster and also causing deep, pock-like scarring all over your body! Eek!

4!. Find out what type of skin you have - take a quiz online, just do a quick internet search for skin types!. Examples would be dry skin, oily skin, mixed skin!.

5!. Use a hygiene technique reccomended for your skin type!. You might need to moisturize more - in fact, people with oily skin NEED to moisturize!. You might want to give yourself exfoliating face masks - I use one made out of Dead Sea minerals, it's really great, my skin is softer than ever before and it helped get rid of pimples that were hanging around from when I stopped breast feeding my daughter (hormones! sigh!)!.

Your hormones and any weight gain and weight loss, as well as your diet and stress levels, will impact your acne!. Sometimes, it's also genetic - some people are just a little more pimply than others!. But hormones and stress are especially crucial, and if you're constantly touching your face and using irritating creams and picking and popping away, you'll destroy your skin!. Give it a break and wait!. Maybe invest in some concealer, use a good skin routine, drink lots of water and just wait it out!. Some creams will dry out and zap pills in the short term, but long-term wise, they'll keep coming back - nothing works quite like good lifelong skin care habits!.

Anyone who has had acne knows that you need more than tea tree lotion and lavender oil to clear the inflamed area!. It is a hormonal problem, diet and hygiene alone will not solve this!.
There is a veggie tablet called 'Futurebiotics AcneAdvance' which are currently on the market!. They seem to be good!. However, it is really worth contacting some manufacturers of acne antibiotics such as tetracycline and minocycline to find out if they produce vegetarian tablets!. also, speak with your doctor!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You might want to check whether Tetracycline or any of its variations are tested on animals!. They work very well if you have moderate to severe acne!.

If you're acne is mild, then lots of water, fruits, and vegetables in conjunction with a healthy lifestyle will help!. Another thing: don't eat peanut butter!. This can be a frequent part of a vegan diet, which is why I bring it up!. It has high levels of testosterone, which can cause bad acne!. This is only true of peanuts, other nut butters are good (cashew nut butter, macadamia nut butter, etc!.)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Clean up your act on the inside!. That is, drink a lot more water and make an effort to go easy on sodium, caffeine, and junk food!.

Wash your face morning and night with a cleanser designed for your skin type!. You can make this yourself!. There are recipes all over the web!.

Exfoliate gently once in awhile!. (How often depends on your skin type!.) If you have sensitive skin, using a washcloth is enough!. If your skin is normal or oily, try some sugar!. (Mix it with lemon if you've oily skin!. Try nondairy milk if it's normal or dry!.)

Be sure you moisturize regularly!. Try a mask now and then!. If your skin is oily, or breaking out badly, try a clay mask!. You can buy clay powder in health stores and mix it yourself (with water, lemon juice, soy milk, etc)!.

Tea tree oil is great for blemishes!. Just be sure you dilute it with something or it can irritate!.

Good luckWww@FoodAQ@Com

The vegan diet is so healthy that no vegan ever has acne!. If you have acne, you're cheating and your shame is visible to the entire vegan world!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

essential lavender oil, It has very good antiseptic properties! it is also good for headaches, cuts, relaxation, insomnia and you can apply it neat without dilutingWww@FoodAQ@Com

Anything that is FDA approved was tested on animals first, and I'd really stay away from any drug or treatment that isn't FDA approve!.
