Answers:
Yes, if someone inexperienced is doing it!.

Overall if you're a healthy young woman (assuming from the avatar) there is NO need to get a colonic!. There's nothing going on that a high fiber and probiotic-rich diet won't fix!. Your intestinal flora are working hard to keep your colon healthy, your kidneys are natural detox machines!.

I think colonics are a bit of a scam, personally!. They're unnatural - your body is a fine tuned machine with millions of years of evolutionary mechanics!. Do you think we evolved and succeeded with the organs we have for SO LONG only to need a tube up our rears to help us go to the bathroom now!? The answer is a resounding no!. Your colon is fine without it!.

I am a lacto-ovo vegetarian, a diabetic, have a severe bout of arthritis in my knees and hips and see a homeopathic doctor and have a colonic 3 times a year, alot depends on your system if your cleansing your system regularly, and if you bowel movements are regular and full, I have had issues since I first started taking meds for both my conditions, and no amount of fiber, prunes or laxative would work, if you have bowel or colon problem sometime a good flush is in order, but as a detox or other method or reason it is not necessary, castor/cod liver or other fish oils and a balanced diet high in fiber, proteins and other foods is all most people need, it something you should talk to your doctor about, I feel 100% better after I have mine, but like the plumbing in an old house I get clogged up and need a good flush every so often, make an informed choice before do it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

sure can if it's not done properly!.

among the chemicals that are used also can also cause some serious issues if one has an reaction!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would ask this under Health!. A procedure like that really has nothing to do with vegetarianismWww@FoodAQ@Com
