I disagree that we must eat meat to be healthy(and I'm not even a vegetarian)!. If I were you, I'd make sure that I'm eating healthfully, a well-balanced, nutrient-rich diet!. By nutrient-rich I mean, lots of organic produce, whole grains like brown rice and quinoa, nuts!. You might consider picking up some free-range eggs, too!.
Here's a recipe for a delicious, healthful vegan salad:
Take a cup of quinoa, cook according to package directions!. Make a vinaigrette of 3 tbsp olive oil, 1/4 c!. fresh-squeezed OJ, and a little zest from the orange!. Toss with the cooked quinoa, add lightly steamed sliced asparagus, peeled, sliced oranges, pine nuts, and chopped cilantro!. Add sea salt and pepper to taste!. If you don't like asparagus, add another fresh veg!. instead!. If you don't have pine nut on hand, use walnuts or pecans, etc!. Just experiment a bit with healthful, nutrient-rich ingredients!. It's okay if you're slim, but you need to be strong with a healthy immune system!.
Another thing you can eat, which is super easy and healthy, is toasted Ezekiel bread(from your natural foods store), with a nut butter on top!. That would help you fill out a little if you eat that daily!.
And make sure you're taking a good multi-vitamin!. Read the label to make sure it's vegetarian!.
I wish you good luck and good health!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can eat seitan, tofu, veggie burgers, veggie dogs, tempeh, edamame, soymilk, beans, peas, lentils, chickpeas, nuts, nut butters, seeds, oatmeal, brown rice, broccoli, potatoes, kale!.!.!.!.

Yours is not a common problem for vegetarians!.
I believe it is common among trolls, however!.

(And who actually uses the word "frail" !?)

Carl Lewis, Hank Aaron, Martina Navratilova, Bruce Lee, Bill Walton, Forrest Whitaker, the guys from Incubus, Green Day, Rage Against The Machine- all vegetarians!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

potatoes are said to be very healthy and nutritious!. when you are sick, you can have potatoes baked in the oven, with butter!. very good for you!. and of course, you can have mashed potatoes, french fries, etc!.
cereals are also very nutritious and some are iron-fortified!.
citrus fruits, such as oranges, grapefruits, are very good against sickness, they contain vitamin C and will help your organism against viruses!.
you can also have vegetable soups!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You aren't getting enough protein!. Vegans have to really make an effort to add that to their diet!. You can eat beans, natural peanut butter, things like that!. Get a good vegan cookbook so you have more variety and ideas of what a balanced diet is!. You'll have problems with your immune system if you don't!. If you want this type of eating then you need to learn more about it and how to stay healthy!. Many do but it's just about learning!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you're frail at the age of 15, something serious is wrong!. You should be under the care of a physician!. He or she can determine whether diet is a component of your poor condition, and whether you need to improve your diet, or whether the problem lies elsewhere, or both!.
Remember that at 15 you ought to be just about as strong and robust as you'll ever get!. So don't just sit there - see a doctor!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It sounds to me like you are nutritionally deficient!. It's entirely possible to eat what your body needs while being 100% vegetarian, but it takes knowledge!. Just cutting off meat-based protein sources is not the way to go!.

Find information from *reputable* sources online or from library books about proper nutrition for vegetarians!.

I suspect you're frail because you've deprived your body of what it requires!. There is no reason, for example, for a vegetarian to avoid "fake meat" products, which often use soy and other beans to provide some of the protein you need!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

eat ALOT of eggs!.

you need the protein!.

also, i have a recipe you could try=] its called Alaina Beans!.

you need-

string beans

cream of mushroom soup

a micro wave

a bowl

first step!.

dump the beans and soup in the bowl and stir!.
til the soup is as thick as a milk shake!.

heat for 1 min!. in the micro wave!.

and serve!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Do some research for some vegetarian food!. also get a recipe book at the store it helps!. Try doing green juices/smoothies if possible, just green veggies and some fruits and drink it as much as you want!. You can look online for green juice/smoothies recipes!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you are frail, it's not because you are vegetarian, it's because you eat poorly!. Google the vegetarian food pyramid to see what you should be eating!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

At the time I begin typing, nobody has mentioned complete protein!. Get Lysine from the bean kingdom (or is it a Duchy!?)!. But soybeans require fermentation to unlock the goodies!. Miso soup is a mainstay of veg-athletes! Regards, Larry!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Try protein bars and shakes!. They fill you up and give you all the protein you'll need!. Athletes eat these to stay trim and to get the nutrients they need!. Myoplex and Balance make great tasting bars and drinks that don't taste bland or like cardboard!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

eat vegetable soup!.you can make it without chicken or any other meat!.
adding beans to it will give it more protien!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You should look at Indian food and recipe's a lot of the food is vegetarian!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Sound like you aren't getting enough protein and iron!. Eat lots of leafy green veggies and beans!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Actually, it is possible to eat no meat and still remain healthy!. What you need is a lot more protein in your diet!. Try cheese, eggs, yogurt, beans and lentils and various nuts!. Eating dairy products not only give you protein, but calcium as well!. Make sure you follow the guidelines on how many servings of each you should have per day!. also, try eating more often!.!.like four or five smaller meals a day (this is what I do) and take a multi vitamin geared towards vegetarians!. Check the ingredients on them!. You can see which contain animal products and which don't!. also, make sure you don't take more than 100% of the recommended daily value of each element as it will not absorb if you do!. (you will just eliminate it from your body)
When was the last time you went to the doctor!? You could be anemic!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The magic in chicken soup isn't in the chicken!. It's in the nutrients (the spices and vegetables) and in the love and comfort you get from it!.
Try veg'ing out a regular chicken soup recipe as follows:
Saute an onion and green pepper along with some celery in olive oil!. Add some extra-firm cubed tofu and brown slightly!.
Dump into a stock pot with the following:
About six cups of water, a veg!. bouillon cube (I use Rapunzel), carrots, ginger, garlic ( minced), shiitake mushrooms, parsley, cayenne pepper, sea salt and pepper!. Simmer for no less than one hour!. I served this to my husband when he was seriously laid up with the flu!. He ate it, went back to bed, and when I checked on him in a few hours, he had soaked the pillow and sheets!. He got up to take a shower while I changed the linens and he slept the rest of the night!. He woke up the next morning his old disgustingly chipper self!. There's a lot of power in those vegetables and spices!.
I've been veg/vegan for 15 years!. I became a vegetarian when I was 14!. I've given birth to three super-healthy children who've never had so much as an earache and they were all over 7!.5 lbs!. at birth!. I've NEVER been anemic or frail!.
A previous poster was right!. Study the vegetarian food pyramid, check out books from the library and really learn your stuff!. Know what you believe, why and how to go about feeding yourself!. Make sure you're taking a vitamin supplement, getting plenty of sleep and not surviving on caffeine and sugar!. Make sure you're getting calcium through soy or rice milk, or broccoli, etc!. also, you might want to have a check-up to see if you have any underlying conditions!. Watch for reactions to foods!. Sometimes, chronic food sensitivities can really make you a mess!.
Good luck! Www@FoodAQ@Com

why are you a vegetarian!? It is clearly not healthy for you!. You need more protein and are not getting it from your vegetarian diet!. If your issue is an ethical one, you can get ethically treated meat or poultry products at any good health food store, like Whole Foods!. Or you can eat fish!. But it sounds like you've chosen a diet that is making you sickly!. What's the point in that!? It's certainly not natural!. Nature evolved us to be omnivores!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It sounds like you like being "frail " otherwise you would just suck it up and go for the quarter pounder !Www@FoodAQ@Com

Maybe if you ate some meat, you wouldn't be so frail!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
