There are many types of Vegetarian:
Vegan: no animal products (nothing from the animal kingdom, this means no dairy, eggs, or honey)
Lacto-ovo vegetarian: no animals, but will eat the things that they produce (eggs, dairy, honey, but no fish)
Lacto-vegetarian: no animals or eggs, but will eat dairy
Ovo-vegetarian: no animals or milk, but will eat eggs (this is commonly made as a choice for the lactose intolerant vegetarian)
Raw veganism: vegan, but won't eat anything cooked above 115F, this is often a temporary diet, but many on it are vegetarian or vegan permanently
Fruitarian: Vegans that only eat what would fall or could be picked from a plant, without killing the plant
Pescetarian: Won't eat most animals, but make an exception for fish
Pollotarian: won't eat most animals, but make an exception for poultry
Flexitarian: a vegetarian, that occasionally, generally for cultural or health reasons, eats meat

Becoming a vegetarian is harder then you think!. It took me a very long time to stop eating all of my favourite foods!. So many foods and drinks have animal products, it's not just meat!. You can't have most sweets (which were always my favourite) and even some yogurts!.
It's hard to get used to but it can be done, as long as your beliefs out weigh your love of non veggie foods!. You just need to focus on why you want to change each time you are tempted!.
There are so many different foods you can eat!.
You can easily make a veggie alternative to any dish!. All supermarkets stock a range of Quorn and other brands of meat substitutes!.
Good luck if you decide to go ahead with it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
