Vegetarian questions, please answer!!!?!
Hey I'm 13 and I want to become a vegetarian!. The problem is I'm wondering whether it'll like affect the way I grow or something like that!.!. because the main food group is vegetables, carbohydrates and protein, so yeah will it affect me in anyway!? I mean of course I don't care that much because the point of being a vegetarian is to save animals!.!. but you know what I mean hopefully!. And plus I looooooovee meat and every single one of my family and friends love meat and eat it regularly so I'm afraid I'll give in one day!. Are there any tips to stay motivated!? Thanks in advance xWww@FoodAQ@Com

being a vegetarian is a good idea because it sure affects your growth, you will grow with nice complexion, beautiful hair, healthy lifestyle, and if you see someone eating meats and stuff just think of the fats and oils in it that can make you ugly and think that if you eat a lot of it the hospital will wait for you and do operations on you and other, i have the same age as you and now i'm starting to think that too, i want to be a vegetarian so i started yesterday, some of the vegetables are icky right!? eat the nutritious and yummy one if you want, but for me the more the icky the more you'll get healthy!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Hi Good on you!. I know what you mean about meat!. There are certain meat dishes that I love too, but hate eating them because of the animals that died!.
Beans and legumes contain proteins so does eggs and cheese!. Mushrooms are regarded as meat for vegetarians!. You might have to do some research as to what food combinations will give you the nutrients you need!.
To stay motivated, just think of the baby animal that died to provide the meat that you're going to eat!.
Good luckWww@FoodAQ@Com

I've been a vegetarian since I was 5 (I'm 15 now) and I'm fine!. Getting the nutrients you need does require a bit more effort, especially with protein, but so long as you watch what you eat and be sure to eat a balanced diet, you should be fine!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
you'll be fine aslong as you eat a balanced diet, you need to replace the protein you get from meat with protein form eggs, nuts etc!.
i think you should slowly cut down the amount of meat you're eating so your body gets used to it
good luck :) xWww@FoodAQ@Com

Hi, x-Demzii!? How are u doing!? So, u want to become vegetarian but
in ur home and & among ur friends all love meat!. In some places, motivation works but not everywhere!. U are still very small & for ur
development & growth, u really require good proteins, some of which are really not available in non-meat products!. I am much older than
u!. Based on several researches, u require a balanced food, i!.e!. carbs,
some fat and u also need good quality of proteins, which mostly come from meat products!. Its very nice idea to save life of animals but how
many animal can u save because in this world, non-vegetarians are
going on increasing and this speed is much faster as compared to
those who want to become vegetarian from non-vege!. No doubt,
products like tofu, beans, nuts/seeds, cheese, etc!. have proteins but
firstly, quantity is very little and quality is not as very good if compared with meat products!. Therefore, for smooth growth of your bones,
muscles, skin complextion, good hair, etc!. growth go on enjoying meat
products but in moderation and eat a balanced food only!. Billions of
animals/birds are being slaughtered every year and how many can u
save, may be only negligible !. Therefore, for your smooth growth
and development, just go on eating a balanced food including ur
choiced of meats!. May God Bless You with good health and happiness!.
