Question: Veg/Vegans: Does your significant other share your diet!?
Mine does not!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Nope!.

We both love animals, he just loves his on a plate!.

I still love him more than the world, his lifestyle is his, mine is mine!. We've never fought about it though!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm currently single, but I've been veg*n for nearly 22 years, almost my entire dating life!. All of my significant others have been meat eaters!. In the longer-term relationships this wasn't an issue because the guys were really respectful of my choice and didn't expect me to cater to them, food-wise!. My ex-husband cooked meat for himself fairly regularly and added it to whatever I made, but my most recent boyfriend was content to eat almost exclusively vegetarian at home because he loved my cooking!. I don't think it's really ever been an issue, but I suppose there's the possibility that it factored into some of those dates that never ended up going anywhere!. In that case, good riddance!.!.!. if you can't respect my convictions, we're not compatible anyway!. All things being equal, it would be fabulous to date another veg*n, but it's not a deal-breaker for me!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

one of the reasons i broke up with my ex is bc he wasnt a vegetarian!. i think it would definitely make life easier to share this with your partner, seeing as being vegan or veggie is a lifestyle, not simply a diet!. it'd be like having two completely different religions!.!.!. confusing!Www@FoodAQ@Com

My husband eats meat!. But since we've been married I don't cook meat for him, and he doesn't cook for himself, and he doesn't complain and he doesn't like meat very much anymore!. He eats it when we go out and usually complains about how bad it is or it makes him sick!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm not a full fledged vegetarian, but I've never ate much meat!.!.!.my whole life!. There are only certain things I like and will eat!. My husband on the other hand thinks that things that don't contain meat are "just a side dish"!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

We were vegetarian when we met and became vegan together!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
