Answers:
1 large can of tomatoes (you can also use fresh, but canned works year-round)
1 small onion (your favorite kind, and you can add more, but remember that raw onion makes things kind of spicy)
1 green bell pepper (optional, and you can also use other colors)
1 clove of garlic (optional, and you can use more if you like garlic)
Chopped cilantro to taste
Salt to taste
Lime juice to taste

Take everything but the cilantro and salt and either chop it or put it in a blender, depending on how chunky or smooth you like your salsa!. Then mix in the chopped cilantro, salt and lime juice, tasting it as you go to get the flavor you want!. You could make it spicy by adding hot peppers, or leave them out to make it mild like you said you wanted!. You can also substitute onion and garlic powder for the onion and garlic if necessary!. This has almost zero calories and no fat, but it's full of veggie goodness!. Enjoy!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Here's a basic recipe and you can make it mild or spicy - you decide!

1 can of diced tomatoes (drained)
-- the kind with green chillis is good if you like a little bit of a spicy kick to your salsa--

1 can of corn (drained)

1 can of black beans (drained and rinsed)

1-2 tablespoons of honey (if you're not vegan - but if your vegan you can sprinkle some raw sugar in the salsa!.)
--the honey (or sugar) gives a little taste of sweet to offset the spice if you use the tomatoes with the green chillis!. If not, the sweetness is still okay to add to your salsa!.

This salsa tastes better if you let it sit in the fridge to chill for at least an hour or two because the flavors will blend!. But, if you can't wait, then go ahead, grab your tortilla chips and dig in! :)

All salsa recipes are low/zero in fat if you don't add oil!. The spice is always adjustable to taste!.

It's what you eat with the salsa that adds far!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
