Answers:
Go and buy a tin of mushy peas from the supermarket! If you want to make them yourself you'll need to buy or grow marrowfat peas - not the usual garden peas!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

making them from scratch tastes nicest!.buy some dried ones and soak with the bicarbonate of soda they include with it for 24 hours you soak them in boiling water!.when the time is up rinse well in cold water and put in a pan with about 1 pint of cold water 2 teaspoons of salt and bring to the boil add half a teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda to them turn the heat down and keep an eye on them if it needs more water add a cup full at a time when soft and mushy serve, these really are the best ones tinned dont even come close!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Hello

When the peas are cooked add butter or margarine!. And salt and pepper to taste!.

And, mash like there's no tomorrow!.

Or you could do it this way!.

Once the peas are cooked, throw them into a the blender!.

Scoop in about 2 tablespoons of butter and a heaping spatula-full of creme fraiche!.

The creme fraiche gives a tart-bite to the creamy, soft pea-taste!.

Blitz for a moment and then salt and pepper to taste!.

Then blitz for a ridiculously long time or until you have a smooth batch of green!.

Or to the consistency that you prefer!.

Hope this helps

Take care and enjoy your mushy peas
