I also just switched, but I have it easier since I do the shopping!. Here are some things I would recommend:
Multigrain cheerios - they have 100% of B12, iron, and other nutrients that can be hard to get!.
Soymilk - I prefer vanilla flavor, it tastes more like regular milk, and it's great if you're used to eating cereal
Earth Balance buttery spread - they sell it at Trader Joe's, it tastes a lot like butter, and it's very useful if you like toast or bagels or want to use it in cooking
Hummus - Great for dipping, great source of protein, tons of flavor, and it makes a great spread to give veggie sandwiches some flavor!. Try using hummus, cucumber, sprouts, tomato, and lettuce in a sandwich!.
Dried fruits - good for a snack or to add to oatmeal or something you're baking
Nuts - An essential source of proteins and fats
Nutbutter - peanut, cashew, and macademia nut all make great butters for sandwiches or to eat on toast or however you like
Lentils - Great for soups, great source of protein, and very versatile
Good luck!

Go into your local or chain health food store!. They will give you various vitamins because it is nearly impossible to get all your vitamins in unless you eat a TON!. They will probably give you a B Vitamin complex and Calcium and a Multi-Vitamin!. Shop around the store and get all the substitutes for everything you eat; soy milk, soy cheese, vegan bread, egg replacement (liquid works best for baking and cooking), butter replacement and various vegan snacks that look tasty!. I hope I helped :D Www@FoodAQ@Com

Make absolutely sure you get a B vitamin supplement or you'll get sick!. Starting off slowly is a lot easier than going straight to vegan!. Start by eliminating meat and dairy and moving to soy products!. If you can keep an egg in your diet, the family will be a bit more relaxed!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
i try to be a vegetarian and my family don't like it so i'm forced to eat meat but what you should do is talk to your family and tell them how you feel!. take vitamins that are designed for vegans so u get the dietary supplement that you need!. ask whoever buys your food if they can get you vegetarian meat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
