hey im thinking about become a vegetarian, and i want to try out these substitutes!. can u tell me which taste best!? or suggest others that arent on the list!.

Far and away the best faux meat products I've tried are the Boca Chik'n Patties and Nuggets!. Delicious!. LOVE them!. Just make sure that you read the ingredients because some of them have dried egg whites and some do not!. The packaging doesn't differentiate so far as I've ever been able to tell!. This may be a concern for you depending on what kind of vegetarianism you're interested in!.
For veggie burgers, my favorite is Morningstar Farms vegan burgers, and I also like vegan Gardenburgers!. For deli slices, the Yves "Turkey" is good, though I find it is better paired with a sauce/spread and veggie toppings to add more flavor!. Boca "ground beef" crumbles are good and are usually more affordable than other brands!.
Yes, all of these products provide protein!. They make good "transition foods" for vegetarians because they are familiar, and they are easy to find, cook and serve!. The downside to faux meat products is that they are expensive and are processed!. I would encourage you not only to try out these products (because they definitely have their place) but also to explore vegetarian and vegan cooking, foods like tofu, new grains, new veggies and also ethnic cuisines that traditionally don't use as many animal products as "standard American" fare!. You'll find out that becoming a vegetarian doesn't have to be all about giving up things-- you'll discover tons of great delicious and healthy foods!. For example, after I became vegan I found out I completely love Mediterranean, Thai and Indian foods!.

get boca in a bun, they come with a chikn patty, whole wheat bun, and a slice of swiss cheese!. SO DELICIOUS, i usually eat those when my family has a bbq (because im the only veggie) Www@FoodAQ@Com
