Black pudding > Are you a lover or hater ?!
Hi Folks,
I only ask because I had reason to visit a local slaughter-house, to bung a standby generator in!.
Rivers of blood to behold, so I mentioned black pudding!.
"Oh yes" was the reply!.
Dried & mixed with fat & rolled into a sausage!.
Many will think this disgusting, and fair play, but I happen to like a couple of slices, duly fried, with a full breakfast!.
What do you reckon !?

Black pudding is traditionally a British dish but there are a number of variations on the name and contents around the world!.
Basically it is sausage made by cooking blood with a filler, until it is thick enough to congeal when cooled!.Black pudding can be eaten uncooked, grilled or boiled!. It is normally served for breakfast!.
Not quite sure why you would ask this question on a vegetarian / vegan site though!? Just trying to be obnoxious and offensive perhaps!

My guess is you thought all us feeble vegetarians and vegans would have an attack of the vapours if you posted mentioning black pudding, slaughterhouses, rivers of blood and the ingredients of black pudding!.
Sorry to disappoint!. We're used to trolls on here!.
If you genuinely want to conduct a survey on black pudding then Polls and Surveys or Food and Drink would be better places to do so!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yeah, I like it!.!.!.!.I also like haggis which a lot of people don't like!.
I'm all for eating every part of the animal - waste not want not!. However, I don't really like the taste/texture of liver or kidney, and I also am not the biggest fan of tripe or intestines!. They can just get minced up into haggis or sausages or whatever, and I'll eat them like that!!Www@FoodAQ@Com
