They were pressured by Peta into improving the conditions for the chickens slightly!. So they suffer a bit less!. Whoopdy doo!. They're still mass-bred, abused and murdered for something as petty as food!. All the improved welfare has done is shoot up sales as the 'conscientious omnivore' is once again happy to eat at 'Tukky's' - so this could have actually resulted in more net suffering for the animals!.

also, they are now offering a vegan item!. However, this is only available in some areas and is rarely fulfilled by the staff, who appear to have been given no instructions on how to serve this vegan meal, indeed, many of the staff do not appear to know what the word 'vegan' means!. Some are given actual chicken burgers, many have mayonaise dolloped onto their meal and most are given the bun, which is not vegan!.

This is one of the strangest 'animal rights' victories as yet!. Peta are not a rights group and they are certainly not doing a whole lot for the animals!.

The only real solution is veganism!. Don't just boycott KFC, boycott the meat industry, the egg industry, the dairy industry and all other industries that see fit to bully the weak!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

When did KFC abuse chickens!? They're already dead when KFC buys them!. I can't believe there are still people that post here that don't know that!.

Like the other poster said, "what good is boycotting someplace you wouldn't go to anyways!?"!. That's not what a boycott is!. A boycott is refusing to go someplace, such as a business, that you WOULD normally go to!. Above me is a vegan that is boycotting KFC!. Well, duh!. You're vegan and you wouldn't have gone there anyways!. Big effort on your part!.

KFC is offering a veger item now so that's something new!.

I think you need to replace the word boycott with protest!. Boycott is an inaccurate description by definition!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

KFC has still has never abused any animals, so that part hasn't changed!. They still use Tyson as their supplier, so that hasn't changed!. The only people boycotting KFC are people who wouldn't be eating there in the first place, so that hasn't changed anything either!.

Pray tell!. What gets accomplished by boycotting a business you don't do business with anyways!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Why does it matter how they kill the chicken!? The result will always be the same!. A chicken died, and you're eating it!.

ADD: Boycotting means to abstain from buying their food!. As you say you're a vegetarian you shouldn't be buying their food anyway!. Unless you really meant protest, not boycott, in which case I'm sure there are people who do that too!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I've never really had KFC but knowing that the chickens live & die in such an unhuman way only makes me never ever ever eat thereWww@FoodAQ@Com

I think that the ways of killing chicken differ from country to another

for the one millionth time!.!.!.!.!.!.KFC does not raise or kill chickens all they do is cook them and your boycotts don't workWww@FoodAQ@Com

idk but i'm still boycotting them Www@FoodAQ@Com

old habits die hard!.!.!.!.!.!.am still boycotting kfc Www@FoodAQ@Com

No, now they're using rabbits!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

KFC is great food when you are drinking!.

I don't have any problems with how KFC treats their chickens just as long as their 11 herbs and spices taste great and the chicken is deepfried to perfection!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.

Since KFC is still in business - it doesn't look like the boycott is doing much!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
