Vegan 2 days, Craving Meat, but Don't think i Could swallow it if i tried ?!
Did you Other Vegans Go through this when you first started being a Veg !?
Iv Chosen to be a Vegan for 2 days now!. and all day to day i have had like having a craving to eat Meat, Or Something with Dairy in it!. BUT while im craving and thinking about eating it, the thought makes my stomach hurt!. And even if i went and and made some chicken i dont think i could swallow it even if i tired!.
Am i wanted to eat meat out of habit !?

I went cold turkey for a raw vegan, the only challenge was seafood, but I remembered all the bad that goes with eating seafood and said it's not worth it and I have been successful ever sing!. Plus I wanted my health to be on point immediately so if I gave in it meat then I would be defeating the purpose of why I went raw vegan in the first place!. Just think of all the bad that goes along with eating meat, diary and processed foods!. Good luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com
Ah, this is where analogues come in!. There are veggie burgers, veggie dogs, veggie sausages, veggie deli slices, etc!. It is out of habit that you want to eat meat--it's all but socialized into us--so you have to find substitutes that give you the taste and texture without the cruelty!.
You might want to make your own seitan, a!.k!.a!. wheat meat!. It has a chewy texture and it's an excellent substitute for meat in most recipes!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Going cold turkey never works!.!.!. you will revert back to your old habits in no time!.
Go slowly!. Cut things out of your diet one thing at a time and you will find the change easier to live with!. Your digestive system has probably gone into shock with the sudden change!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

First off you probably shouldn't have made such a huge life changing decision if you weren't prepared for it!. If you enjoy eating meat then eat it!. Veganism is a natural progression that happens after first taking the step of being vegetarian!. Do some research!.!. do you even understand all of the fake substitute options there are in the world!? There are health stores everywhere that will supply you with mock dairy and meats!. Tofutti http://www!.tofutti!.com/ and tofurky http://www!.tofurky!.com/ products are found at whole foods stores across the country!. I don't believe anyone CRAVES textures!.!. you crave flavor!. You can get protein from SO many other sources other then meat http://sugarrocket!.com/vegan/vegan-myths!.!.!. Really you need to do some research!. If you know how to cook and apply correct seasonings and condiments to ANY vegan food it will be delicious!. Dont call yourself vegan when you obviously aren't!.
