Generally yes a vegetarian diet is lower in fats and calories!.

There are some products meant to taste like turkey and other meat, look in frozen foods and by the tofu!. Tofurkey lunch meat is a nice substitute I think!.

If you think you can't give up meat entirely, then just cut down a lot!. It will help you and the environment!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Hmm!.!.!. It really depends!. If you become a vegetarian and you eat a diet of mostly veggies you probably will lose some weight, but if you become one and eat mostly carbs like pasta and bread that could have the reverse affect!. So just make sure you eat a balance and you will be fine!.

Mostly you should become veggie because you care about not hurting animals, so if you do some research online like on the PETA website and such you will find a lot of great info!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Carbohydrates along with a sedentary lifestyle make and keep you fat, not meat!. In fact, a high fat, high protein diet like Atkins is probably the most effective diet for weight loss!.

Eat meat, eat animal fat and exercise!.

Usually you can get all that at any grocery store, there's a special small section for it!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
