The quickest and most effective way to lose weight is actually a high protein, high fat and low carbohydrate diet like the Atkins, South Beach or Paleolithic diets!. They are the diets that are closest to the one humans evolved eating!.

Ditch the pasta!. Have a nice, well-marbled steak and a nice salad instead!.

Diet like a man!. Exercise and weightlifting are also advised!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Saying you gain weight when you are a vegetarian is ridiculously general!. I lost 50lbs 10 years ago when I became vegetarian and I haven't gained any of it back!. Vegetables are low calorie and high in water!. Eating plenty of vegetables, beans and whole grains has made it easy for me to keep my weight down with little exercise!. If you eat vegetarian, but it is all chips, cookies and white bread then yeah you are going to gain weight!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

sorry, vegan / vegetarian diets are not the way to go!.

why!? because there's a plenty of overweight vegan/vegetarians out there!.

many i know myself and one time i was putting on weight!.!. calories are calories!.!.!. cept in a vegetarian/vegan diet they're not empty!.

this is a preferred diet!.!. but if you're doing it to lose weight i'm afraid you will still have to cut your caloric intake!.

Okay, when you are a vegetarian you actually gain weight!. So if you want to lose all you have to do is exercise, know when to eat, and eat healthy stuff!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

One vegetarian recipe sure to please is cooked carrots:

Take a bunch of wholesome carrots and peel them!. Cover with water!. Cook until tender!. Salt to taste and enjoy!.
