What foods do I need to eat?!

Question: What foods do I need to eat!?
I am a vegetarian!. When I first became vegetarian I gained weight because I didn't know what I was doing!. I ate a lot of pasta and cheese!. I've never been a big vegetable eater, but I've been better with it the past 3 years!. I rely too much on meat substitutes, and though I am getting the protein I need, I'm still overweight and have trouble finding the energy to get through tough workouts!. I don't have huge amounts of time or money to make elaborate meals!. I know I should concentrate on fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, and whole grains, but I need help figuring out what to eat that tastes good, is easy to make, has the nutrients I need, and doesn't cost a lot!. Does anyone have suggestions for me!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Do you know about Buddha!?!? U know just because your a vegetarian(so is Buddha)doesn't mean you can't eat Fish^_^(yes u can still eat fish) if Buddha can eat fish and be none guilty so can you^_^ so dat should expand the type of food you could eat!. u can enjoy a tuna sandwich at subway and enjoy a fillet o fish from Mcdonald and anything else dats fish on the menu!.!. and u can still eat bread sticks and cinnamon sticks at a pizza place!. But if you wanna lose weight I don't advise dat you eat dough nor pasta(since those are the things dats hard for your stomach to digest)Www@FoodAQ@Com

being a vegetarian you dont really get complete proteins in one food item because that only really happens in meat, to get complete protein in your diet you must combine atleast two sources of partial proteins (generally all food that contains protein thats not meat) to form a complete protein Ex: eating beans and cheese would take two partial proteins and turn it into a complete protein!. Eat lots of carbs, they are your number one source of energy!. And eat a lot of eggs, tons of protein and other good nutrition youll need in a vegetarian diet!. And for fruits, maybe try something different your not use to, or cook em differently, such as grilling peaches and bananas (sprinkle a wee bit of sugar or honey on em)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
