Vegans do eat yogurt!. I just wanted to clear that up!. There are at least a few brands of soy yogurt that are vegan!. I haven't bought any in quite some time, so I can't remember the brand that I usually buy!. I just know it when I see it & then double check the ingredients!. :) If I remember correctly, I think Silk brand is vegan (even though it's owned by an evil corporation)!. I think So Delicious also has yogurt now, and that is probably vegan!. I wish Chicago Soy Dairy would start making yogurt!. Their ice cream is the best, so I imagine their yogurt would be too!. :)Www@FoodAQ@Com
Yes, many lacto-ovo vegetarians eat dairy-based yogurts!. The problem is that many mainstream brands contain gelatin, which is not a vegetarian product!. Personally, I love anything from Stonyfield Farms!. They use pectin instead of gelatin in their products, and they're so good that they can't keep them stocked at my local grocery store or the closest Whole Foods!.
Vegans do not eat any animal products, including dairy or dairy derivatives!. However, there are several brands of soy yogurt (that don't use dairy derivatives), including Whole Soy and Silk!. Silk makes these phenomenal live! yogurt smoothies that you have to try!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I eat a goat's milk yogurt as most all adults are allergic to cow dairy!.
However there are great cows milk brands like Horizon and Brown Cow!. For culinary purposes i like to use the thick, heavy Greek yogurts!.
There are several soy varieties on the market if you would like to go vegan with your choices!.

Yes, veggies can eat yogurt (and we enjoy it, too!)!. I really like Stonyfield, I think it is!.!.!.the one with the yellowish cow on the front!. Very natural, very yummy!. I also like to have the Yoplait YoCrunch for dessert sometimes--it has a little top full of Nestle Crunch pieces that you mix into the yogurt!. Perfect sweet treat!Www@FoodAQ@Com
I like Greek yogurt best, but it's hard to find!. Stonyfield is the best regular yogurt that I've found in Texas; but, in California I'd buy Mountain High or Alta Dena!. I don't like Yoplait (unless it's extra-creamy) or Dannon, or those other ones that are watery and sugaryWww@FoodAQ@Com
Vegetarians eat yogurts!. Vegans do not!. I am not a vegan, but I prefer eating Silk Yogurts!. They are really great!.
