What are ALL the rules to being a TRUE VEGETARIAN :]?!

Question: What are ALL the rules to being a TRUE VEGETARIAN :]!?
I've been vegetarian for a short time!.!. Simply due to the fact that i love animals wayy too much and eating them just didn't feel right!.!. every time i ate beef i would think of the absolute 'horror' the cow went through :(

So i've given up all meats! yes even chicken, and my former love of turkey!.!. My mom got me these delish 'veggie burgers' and i love em!! :D they are so yummy! anyways!.!. I would like someone to tell me everything i need to know about the RULES of being a veggie!.!. also my mom said i still need to get my protein so i've been eating walnuts!.!. and i heard milk and cheese are good for that too!.!. and trust me i drink lots of milk! and cheese is my LOVE! ;] (i also drink soy milk too) so, basically my question to you 'TRUE VEGETARIANS' out there is!.!.

What other foods should i eat to get my protein from!?
Are there any foods out there that 'claim' to be vegetarian food but really isn't!?
What stores should i shop at that carry the most healthy, organic, vegetarian foods and drinks!? (besides Trader Joes;)
and anything else you can add!!

"True Vegetarian" means not eating meat or products that cause the animal to die!. In some places it is taken to mean being vegan, or abstaining from all animal products, but you'd want to let your mom adjust to you being vegetarian first!. She's only giving you a hard time because she cares!. The milk and cheese will give you more than enough protein!. If you can, eat an egg now and then to get your B vitamins!. They also have lots of proteins and since they're just chicken periods its ok!. (Get Free Range though, preferably from a local farmer so you know he's not just overcharging)

Anything labelled as vegetarian should be vegetarian, but the more you avoid processed foods and eat whole foods, the more certain you can be!. I can't think of any non-vegetarian drinks out there (ok, some alcoholic beverages use animal products in their production, and when you're old enough to drink, you should look into that, but it seems silly to list them now since you're young enough for your mom to be bugging you about your diet)!. Really, you don't need to go to overpriced specialty shops!. Check your area for a local farmers market!. If you've got one, go there for as much as you can!. Otherwise, just go to the organic section in your supermarket!. Trader Joe's and Whole Foods places are way way way overpriced and the quality isn't much better than what you'd get in Publix or somewhere like that!. (They're also owned by the German discount chain, Aldi, which makes me question their products!.!.!.)

Sure, I could rant on for ages!. I've been vegetarian for 13 years now, so if you've got any questions just drop me a line! Congrats on your good decision!Www@FoodAQ@Com

You must develop a deep seated hate for meat eaters and always let them know they smell like death!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The golden rule: do NOT eat meat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i've been a vegetarian for 30 years!.!. for me that means!.!.!. strictly that is!.!.!.

veggies, fresh!.!. fruits!.!.!. fresh!.!.!. anything else i scrutenize!.

nuts, seeds, soy products!.!. i double check, especially if they're obtained from a mass merchant or grocer!.

processed foods!? are a NO NO! all processing has animal product in it!.

organic!? i've discovered over the years, most organic!.!.!. IS NOT organic!. it's the label that says it is but it's the company's regular product passing off as organic!.!.!. so 90% of the organics out there aren't still to this day!.!.!. many companies and franchises INCLUDING trader joes have had their butts kicked for this!.!.!.!.

no sodas!.!.!.!. no garbagy foods!.!. no fast foods!.!.!.!. no candies!.!.!. no so called processed vegan or vegetarian foods!.!. why!? read those labels!.!.!. if there's anything on the label that says casein, dairy or has animal product (but it's a fancy chemical name instead!.!.!.) it's not vegetarian!.

veggie burgers!? sorry, 90% of them have animal product in them!.!. morning star, bocca, garden burger are notorious for listing themselves as vegetarian!.!. BUT have animal product in them including diary!

all dairy IS NOT vegetarian!.!. NO EGGS, no MILK from any animal!.!. NO cheese!.!. NADDA!.

want milk!? drink soy and make sure it doesn't have animal product or bi product in it!.

there IS NO PROTEIN problem in a pure vegetarian diet!.!.!. why don't YOU look at this site!.!.!. IT IS NOT MINE!.!. i use it as a reference for beginners and those who need to do more research in general!.

http://www!.healthalternatives2000!.com/mi!.!.!.

this is a list of the common fruits and veggies along with other vegetable elements!.!.!. you will soon find there's protein all over the place!.

also!.!. the proteins in vegetable and fruits alone are more than enough and are soluable! that means the body can absorb it!.!.!. the body can't absorb proteins from animal fats and other animal product or parts!. this is so well known!.!. it's called artery plaque! IE: cholesterol and triglycerides!.!.!.

this is why meat eaters are obese in general and have heart disease!.!.!. among digestional disorders!.

so do please stop listening to these bogus claims about protein defecency in the vegetarian diet!.

there's so much more!.!. but i think this is a good start in the right direction to correcting this matter and the myths!.

yes you can be a vegetarian and still eat cheese and ice cream!. if you don't, it's called a vegan!.

but if your motivation is the well being of animals, you should know that dairy cows live under terrible conditions and suffer greatly in their lives!.
you can mitigate that a little by using organic milk and cheese!.

veggie burgers are really veggie, of course!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Vegetarians don't eat meat!. If you want to be extremist, and not eat any animal by-product, then you are a vegan!. Vegetarians can consume dairy products!.

also, dont fall for the extremist fundies who tell you that dairy animals are tortured horrendously!. Most of them are just re-sprouting nonsense that they have heard elsewhere, and have never set foot on a dairy farm!. I grew up on dairy farms, huge sprawling farms that cover thousands of acres where cows are allowed to roam and are never kept in sheds!.I can also tell you that dairy cows that are stressed produce lower quality milk and lower quantities of milk and therefore all is done to reduce stress!. They also do not take into consideration what would actually happen to the millions of dairy cows in the world if the industry shut down!. The animals would be destroyed because they cannot be released into the wild!. These fundies should campaign for better conditions, rather than trying to shut down an industry, destroy animals and destroy the families of those who rely on this industry!.
