Vegetarians may opt to eat eggs, but vegans do not eat anything of animal origin!.

You should know that the term "free range" is essentially meaningless!. In the context of commercial egg production, it does not ensure that hens ever see the outdoors!. And it certainly doesn't preclude practices like hot knife debeaking, forced moulting or the wholesale slaughter of male chicks!. The only truly free range eggs are eggs from your own hens or those of friends and family; if you can't witness for yourself how well the hens are treated, they likely aren't treated well at all!. No grocery store eggs are cruelty-free!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

With veggie rules yes, vegan rules no!.
Some vegetarians do eat dairy, however; vegans eat no animal byproducts!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's very good for veggies! It doesn't make you a vegan, but people who eat eggs but not meat are called "ovo-vegetarian"!. I eat free-range too, as I don't like the cruelty inflicted on battery hens!.

Good luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Vegetarians are allowed to eat eggs but vegans don't!.
Try your local pet shop or farm, they usually sell real free range eggs, these are much better than shop bought free range!.
