There are plenty of non-soy-based sources of vegan protein!. All of your other legumes (lentils, peas, beans, chickpeas, peanuts) are excellent sources!. Whole grains, nuts and seeds are also excellent sources!. Even fruits and vegetables, especially dark green ones, are good sources!. On a per-calorie basis, broccoli has more protein than beef!. You can easily make it from scratch if you prefer not to buy the prepackaged variety (which is a rip-off anyway!.) Vegetarianism shouldn't be making low blood sugar worse if you're eating regularly enough!.
