To make a qualified response to your question I would need to know more about your diet, such as, how many calories are you consuming on avg!. each day!? I would hope it is a minimum of 2,000!. Since you are young and may still be growing (as you said you put on some inches in height in the last year) I would go for 2,500!.
Don't try to overcompensate with all protein or too much tofu or especially fake meats!. Those products, while they make a *wonderful jumping point* into vegetarianism/veganism can be loaded with fat, sugar, and sodium!. My suggestion would be that if you are eating a lot of these and worried about skipping breakfasts/not eating at school, take the time to learn some better, easy meals to cook the night before!.
I am a student myself so I understand that time and money can be an issue, however, it has been MUCH cheaper cooking for myself and much healthier!.
Losing weight when going veg is typical!. Some see it quickly while some don't see it for a year or so later (as in my case)!. Eventually, it should plateau as your body adjusts to the new diet!.
If you lose too much weight, begin feeling sick or dizzy, etc!. I suggest going to see a dietitian or doctor!.
It's good you are trying to eat a lot and taking vitamins!. Keep up with it is all I can say!. And stay educated!. Keep on reading because the more educated you are, the better decisions you can make about your health!.
Oh! And get a book on veganism!. "Going Vegan" is one of my favorites!. You can locate a vegan food pyramid online as well to help you layout your meals!.
As for detoxing, it can definitely aid in quick weight-loss!. Some people detox just to lose weight!. Essentially, it is the release of toxins out of your body which can be done by means diet or temperature (as some people go to saunas to sweat out the toxins)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you are a male finishing puberty, please reconsider your tofu intake!. Tofu and other unfermented soy foods contain a lot of phytoestrogens, which act like estrogen in the human body!. Get your protein from nuts, eggs and dairy!. Meat would be a better source!.

As previously said, detox is getting rid of all the chemicals and toxins in your body placed there by eating animal products!. That most likely is what is happening to you!. The weight loss will stop fairly soon, yet it is different for everyone!.
also as previously said, soy raises estrogen levels in your body, so you should probably lean off of it!. You can still eat it, but don't eat *insane* amounts of it!. Eat more foods like nuts, beans, and of course there is dairy!.
When/if you do eat dairy, specifically cheese, be careful!.
Here is a list of vegetarian-friendly cheeses:

And here is a list of food items that have some form of animal product in them (some that are surprising!):

Good luck!
To Charlie: Soy is not *bad* for males, no one ever said that, but it does cause estrogen levels to rise!. And since you mentioned China, why do you think they give birth to so many girls instead of boys!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
