Different people are motivated by different things, so I can't tell you what will motivate you to stay vegetarian or vegan!. It's a journey, not a destination, and the reasons you have for becoming veg*an will hopefully help you stay veg*an!.
By becoming veg, you will be adopting a more compassionate diet!. Meat production is also incredibly bad for the environment (Google "bite global warming" for information)!. A vegetarian diet can be healthier; don't listen to the boneheads who said you won't be getting nutrients!. It's almost impossible to develop a protein deficiency unless you eat mostly junk food or you don't eat enough!. Most people get way too much protein anyway, and that's bad for your calcium levels and kidneys!. A vegetarian diet reduces your chances of getting heart disease, diabetes, and cancer!.

I'm a vegetarian myselfand living in a house full of meat eaters used to be quite tricky!. I stuck to my guns though and i've been a vegi for nearly 15 years!.
Self discipline and will power is vital, especially if you used to love meat!. For some people the smell and taste of bacon can make them convert back to eating meat!
also, it depends on the reasons for becoming one!. Was it a spontaneous decision!? The reason i became a vegi was because i thought that killing animals for food is wrong and cruel and my teacher told me how (in ome cases) they slaughtered the animals!. Those words hit me so hard, they were a very powerful impact on me!.
However, being a vegi means tht you miss out on vital iron etc that meat contains!. I take vitamin supplements, even though there is alot of vegi food that is high in iron and other vitamins thst vegis may lack!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Ask any question, you will have an answer!. There is piles among piles of reasons why vegetarianism is a smart way to go!.
And one of my favorite threads is 'Stupid Things Omnivores Say!." It's sad to think that people are so ignorant!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

we are all omnivores by birth, designed by nature to eat meat as well as vegetables!. I myself am curious what turns people onto this lifestyle!.
I enjoy some meat after my salad!.
