Hi! with a vegetarian in the family it is often annoying having to change around meals!. Try this recipe:
All it involves is pastry, your fav chopped up veggies, and a bit of grated cheese!.
1!. Cut pastry into 4 strips!.
2!. Chop up your fav veggies!.
3!. grate sum cheese!.
4!. spoon veggies in the middle of pastry strips!.
5!.Top with sprinkle of cheese
6!. roll over to make a long 'sausage'!.
7!. cut up into little sausage rolls,
8!. brush with egg
9!. put in the oven for 15 minutes or until cooked on moderate temp!.
10!. serve warm and enjoy!Www@FoodAQ@Com

To avoid blandness,or to ring the changes using ingredients you are confident with you might like to explore the world of herbs and spices!.

Your supermarket will have a lot, but for info on an awful lot more see the source below that has informative stuff about each one!.

They cost 84p each and a pack of say Thai Stir Fry seasoning will last you quite a few meals!.

also adding seeds like sesame to a potato dish or salad not only makes it more interesting but also adds valuable nutrition!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Personally, I adore tofu!. The strange thing is that I used to hate it, until I learned the right way to prepare it!. Take a block of firm tofu (not silken) and cut it into for equal sized steaks!. Then, wrap the pieces in paper towels and weigh them down with something (I use a cutting board and my blender) in order to squeeze all of the water out of them!. After an hour or two, I unwrap them from the paper towels and make a marinade from 2 tablespoons of rice wine vinegar (you can use whatever kind you like), 3 tablespoons of worcestershire sauce, and a tablespoon of soy sauce!. I also like to throw in a few (or sometimes a bit more) dashes of hot sauce!. Let the tofu steaks sit in the mixture for an hour on each side!. There are several ways that you can cook these, but I prefer grilling!. Since the tofu is already cooked, just grill them until they've been seared a bit on each side!.
Hope this helps!. Trust me, it tastes wonderful!.
P!.S!. If you want your tofu a bit more meaty in texture, freeze it, and then thaw it before making the recipe!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I like Morning Stars frozen Chicken Strips!. They don't even need to be thawed out before cooking and cook in like, less than 10 minutes on a pan with a little oil!. I take those off and then throw on a frozen stir fry mix of veggies!. While I'm doing those I toss a 10 minute Boil in a Bag brown rice!. When all is said and done, toss it all together with some teryiaki sauce and it's great!. Quick, easy, tasty and best of all meat free! And the chicken strips are good b/c they taste just like real chicken, so it's esp!. good for someone who's new to vegetarianism!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

well I would recommend not killing your stomach since you are just starting with this vegetarian thing so I would say do not cut out all of the meats right out because you have a stomach that has been used to have those nutrients that meat provides so you would still be hungry no matter what I would recommend a fresh garden salad with ranch dressing and bacon bits to provide your stomach with the sensation that is desiring for meat then little by little stop using it until your stomach gets use to it Www@FoodAQ@Com

Omelet, or even better a spanish omelet because its more filling!. Macaroni cheese!.
