Question: Where are the seeds in lettuce!?
Answers:
you have to let a few heads go and blossom!.!. but that takes some time and effort!.!.!.

heads will grow upward over time if not cut down!.!.!.!. same with cabbage!.!.!.!.

they'll grow upward like in stalks and will grow blossoms!.!.!. then when that happens!.!. just let them get the seeds on the flowers and during harvest!.!.!. when the seeds are at their peak and drying then pull them from the blossoms!.!.!.

by that time it should be later summer or way early fall and the blossoms should have fallen by then!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You won't find them in any lettuce that you buy in the store
most of what you find commercially are baby greens
if you grow lettuce and don't pick the leaves or head it will sprout and flower and that is where you find the seeds

to michelle where does it come from if you don't have seeds!?!?!?!?!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

if you leave a lettuce in the ground well past its best then it will produce seeds - its called going to seed i think

the lettuce you buy in the stores has been picked weeks before it goes to seed

plant a lettuce and leave it well past its best and you will see it goto seed
