I think i'm doing it wrong?!
I went vegan last sunday and since then, I feel like I have more energy, and feel better about cutting out all animals cruelty, but, I've lost four pounds, for about two or three days i haven't "gone to the bathroom" solid, and today I had a slight stomach ache for about twenty minutes and had diahrea once!?
Am I doing something wrong!? Could I be leaving out some vitamins or something!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

How would we know what you are doing right or wrong!?
You didn't even give us an idea of what you are or are not eating!.

"Vegan" doesn't tell us what you eat, it only describes what you don't eat!.
I'm not a dietitian, but I suspect that your body could be adjusting to all of the fiber!. Your body may be used to having less mass to eliminate from your body so it had to work harder to expel waste!.
The only thing that I can suggest is to eat bread or pasta with every meal and don't go very long on just fruits, vegetables or legumes!.
Bread, pasta, cereal, rice, beans, peas, lentils, nuts, seeds, fruits and veggies can easily offer everything that you need except B12!.

All vegetarians should take a B12 supplement regularly since most people eat meat, dairy AND fortified cereals yet still have a B12 status that is lower than recommended!.

It may help if you see proof that vegetarian people have the same potential as anyone else!.

If you need meat or dairy during any stage of your life or to live any certain lifestyle, why does the American Dietetic Association say otherwise!?

firstly stayer bo's reply not very nice quite rude in fact just obscene!. Not a good idea to be a vegan unless you are doing your own cooking and have lots of time to prepare your own food and eat a varied diet to receive enough sustenance to keep your own body growing and regenerating!. Your change of diet has caused your body to protest so if you must change do so in stages as you get wiser!. You need to eat a lot more if on a vegan diet!. Reminder that animals eating grass spend most Of the day eating---not a great past time if you want to achieve or have interesting hobbies or are into physical training!.!.!.!.!.!.!. You don't need a lot of protein but you do need some-------hmm the answer refered to has thankfully vanished !Www@FoodAQ@Com
To make it a bit more 'solid' you'll need to try eating a bit more rice or bread or potatoes or taro - something starchy!. Stodge, as they used to call it!. It will help to counteract the effects of the extra fibre that your body hasn't quite got used to yet!.
As for "going to the bathroom" - please don't confuse the poor plumbing! Go to the toilet instead! LOLWww@FoodAQ@Com

You are losing weight far too fast, especially since you did not mention being overweight!. This is not healthy, and your body is giving you more energy so you can go out and forage for food!. Or kill something!.
Eat more food!. It's not healthy to lose weight like that!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
