Did you have a problem drinking alcohol after going vegetarian/vegan?!
-Did you become sensitive to alcohol
-Feel sick and tired the next day even if you didn't drink that much
-Can't drink like you used to!.
That kind of thing!.
Thanks!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes yes yes! After going vegan I became essentially a "lightweight!." I used to be able to knock back 6 double drinks and still be ok!. Now if I drink two I'm on the floor!. I guess that's better for my health and wallet anyway!.
But I still like drinking!. I've switched to beer though because it's lower in alcohol content and I don't feel hungover the next day!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

lol, no!.
I'm actually consideder an alcoholic by my freinds due to the amount i drink (im not an alcoholic, i could stop any time i wanted, i just dont want to) and i can out drink most of them without feeling sick or anything!.
If you feel sick it is probably due to age and lack of body mass to store the alcohol (these are the most common causes of feeling sick due to alcohol consumption)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

No, I didn't experience this, though I drink very moderately as it is!. I did have someone who recently (like in the last few months) went vegan mention that his tolerance for both alcohol and caffeine has gone down!. Maybe it's just a coincidence, though!? I don't know what the explanation woould be at any rate!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
no not at all
i used to eat meat and still get hammered, i have been a veggie for 7 years now and i still get hammered
maybe you are making the typical mistake that new vegetarians do and just eat VEGETABLES instead of replacing the meat with pulses / beans / lentils!. make sure you eat plenty of beans + lentils with your lunch and dinner, and cheese like mozarella to substitute the proteins!.
good luck ! Www@FoodAQ@Com
