Okay, might want to calm things down here a little!. Soy, despite the hype in the press about it of late, is not some kind of poison!. It is just a food with certain nutrients!. Probably, like all foods, consuming too much at the expense of other foods, is not a good idea!. But there's no still serious or conclusive study that has demonstrated that it decreases life expectancy, or is a serious contributor to disease, despite many efforts to do so!. Bear in mind that communities around the world (and particularly the Far East) have eaten soy for millennia, and they're still here and thriving!.
I agree possibly that eating concentrated soy protein isolate frequently (which is in many processed foods), might not be like eating natural soy!. This type should be taken with some caution!. But writing off soy altogether, a food that has helped sustain people for generations, I'm not sure is warranted just yet!. Make sure of course that the soy you're consuming does not come from rainforest cleared lands, and is grown organically if possible, but don't feel too guilty otherwise about eating some!. There are, pretty conclusively, many worse foods out there than soy to be eating!.

well, soy is generally used for protein and fibre, in place of meat!.
The best thing to eat as a source of these is legumes/beans! there are tons of varieties and you can use them for anything!. chickpeas, kidney beans, black beans, peas, lentils etc!.
You can use them as a side, in soup, in chili, make hummus, make bean dip, falafel, little patties!.!.!.
nuts and seeds are also a good source of protein, but you have to be a little more careful with them because although they are quite healthy they also have a higher fat content!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Don't believe everything you read!.
http://www!.foodrevolution!.org/what_about!.!.!.
The financing of most "anti-soy" research has been traced to the meat industry!. The "Weston Price Foundation" who claim that soy is Satan and butter is a cure-all, gets their funding from membership donations!. Who are their members!? Dairy farmers and cattle ranchers!.
The biggest problem with soy is that most of the soy products people consume are heavily processed, and these kinds of foods should not be a staple of your diet!.
Why not cook real food, out of actual ingredients like vegetables, beans and grains!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

While I don't believe that soy is in any way unhealthy, there's no reason why soy needs a "magic" food either!. Vegans can obtain complete proteins by eating a combination of legumes and grains (not necessarily in the same meal)!. There's no reason you have to rely on tofu and fake meats, which are often made of soy!. They are convenience products, nothing more!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
