I'm curious, what do vegans and vegetarians think of carnivorous animals? Let me know what you think?!
Answers:
Carnivorous animals are just that: carnivorous!. I have no more issue with a lion eating meat than with a bird flying, it's just natural, and it's how they survive!.
I'm totally down with Indian groups eating meat they killed themselves - or anyone else, for that matter!. I don't have a problem with humans eating meat, but I do have a problem with the factory farming system in place which exploits and tortures animals from the moment of their birth until their gruesome and painful deaths!. I hate that the process of killing the animal is so far removed from the person who eventually consumes that animal!. I hate that McDonald's is able to tell kids that "hamburgers grow in hamburger patches!."
also, the animals the Indians killed lived their whole lives naturally roaming, grazing, and mating!. If all modern meat farms could allow their animals this kind of space and freedom (truly free range), I might be more inclined to eat meat!. But as it is, these animals suffer in cages their entire lives, inside of windowless buildings with concrete floors!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

There's a big difference between a lioness taking down a gazelle for the pride's dinner and what happens on modern factory "farms!." And I've never heard of a lion with heart disease, so their bodies were meant to digest meat, bones, and other animal bits!. While humans have adapted to be able to consume meat, our bodies and digestive systems are closer to herbivorous animals than carnivorous animals!.
As for Indians hunting animals, they did what they needed for survival!. And again, it was far less cruel than what goes on in modern meat and animal skin production!. When they hunted and used the buffalo, there were no alternatives to using their skins for clothing and tepees as there are today!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

No problem!.
If survival is at stake then it may be necessary to eat animals!.
This is the law of the jungle!.
What most vegetarians object to is the industrialisation of animals to provide food contaminated with antibiotics and other drugs, and the inhumane farming practises!.
The Plains Indians may have used every part of the animal but so does modern society!. You may be surprised what goes into chicken nuggets and cheap burgers, you never see beaks or feet for sale in a supermarket but they are there!.!.
The result of the modern obsession with eating meat at every opportunity is seen in the obesity epidemic and the levels of cancer and heart disease!.
The Plains Indians probably got more exercise chasing their dinners
and didn't live long enough to develop the cancers!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I have no problem with carnivorous animals, they are simply doing what their body is built for and what their instincts are telling them!. We as human beings have a choice about what we eat and can take in consideration where it comes from!.
The indians where hunting free animals and using them for very practical uses as well as feeding their family's, im fine with that what im not fine with is people shoving hamburgers made from caged, abused animals down into their already overfed stomachs not taking into account where that food comes from!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

there are many animals that a carnivores as there is also omnivores & herbivores!. it's really an animal instinct!. they don't cook it or manipulate it, animals just tear flesh apart for survival!.
as humans, we have the intelligence to make meat-eating a choice!.
which if eaten beyond moderation will lead to heart disease!
yum! Www@FoodAQ@Com

I've been vegetarian for 15 years, and don't quite understand your question - do you mean, does a vegetarian pass judgment on an animal because it eats other animals!? Don't be silly!.
Vegetarianism is a personal choice I have made, not a political statement or a statement of supposed moral superiority!.
Animals are animals!. Humans can make choices for themselves!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I dont care!. Animals can whatever is natural for them!. The main difference is that animals dont raise their prey on factory farms, have them mass slaughtered cheaply, and then drive their lazy @ss down to a supermarket to buy their meat in neat little packages!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I'm pescetarian(person who eats no meat other than fish)!. I feed my dog high protein low carb kibble supplemented with raw meaty bones!. It's what they are meant to eat and theres nothing wrong with that!.
My personal beliefs!. Feed dogs, cats and ferrets the right food or don't own one at all!. Get a rabbit, not a dog!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
