Something simple and tasty is making your own bean burgers!.
Ingredients-
1 tin of chickpeas
1 tin of kidney beans
1 stalk of celery
1 carrot
Enough flour to bind it together (you wont need much)
Salt and pepper to season!.
Mush up the chickpeas and kidney beans (note: you can always use something like butter beans or any other tinned 'beans' but they must be tinned) until they have 'merged' together and formed a thick 'paste!.' Chop up the carrot and the celery and add them to the beans and mix!. Add as much flour as you need (add little bits at a time) and mix!. Form burger shaped patties (as big as you want, but not too big because otherwise they wont cook!.) Heat up a frying pan with some oil and put the patties in the frying pan!. Fry on both sides until golden brown!. They're nice both on their own and in a burger bun =]Www@FoodAQ@Com

Lentil Soup: serves up to 8
-2 leeks
- 3 cups of lentils (or chick pea's, yellow split pea's etc)
-3 carrots
- one onion
- half a cauliflower
- 1-2 litres of water (as you wish
- a handful of parsley
- two finely chopped potatoes
- one packet of pasta
Combine all the ingrediants except the pasta (don't add that till about 10 minutes before serving) in a big pot and allow to simmer until the vegetables are soft!. Then add the pasta, allow it to cook, and then serve!.
This is just the base for what to make!. i tend to just include whatever i have on hand, and discount what i don't like for the day!.
All my vegie friends love it too though! and its heaps healthyWww@FoodAQ@Com

The carrot guy is a troll; ignore him!.
I have a favorite recipe from www!.vegweb!.com for Lemon Tofu with Capers, but if you're not much of a cook, this may not be for you!. I've compiled my tips in my profile, but it does take practice!.
But do check the website; there are bound to be awesome recipes that someone who doesn't cook much can fix!. I would go for a soup, a stew, or a casserole, as they are usually easy to prepare if you're not an experienced cook!.
There's also a great portabello mushroom pot pie in "La Dolce Vegan" by Sarah Kramer, but when I make it, I double the dough recipe and use it as a base instead of a topping!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
