You have to ask Why!? The why is the answer, not the yes or the no!.

People will tell you that being a vegan and not eating any animal products at all or processed products is bad!. WHY!?!

They cannot explain!.

Because it's not worse, it's better!. Why!.

Dairy products are known as liquid meat!. Why!? Because they contain cholesterol and fats too!. How is drinking lactic acid beneficial to humans!? Vitamin D!? That's the dumbest thing I've heard!.

You can get your vitamin D requirements from being out in the sun!. By the the way that's a fact!. Plus milk is only fortified with vitamins D and no one food has a significant amount of vitamin D!. Even if you find it in fish!. As far as Calcium is concerned you need you drink OJ and eat green peppers, those are just two things off the top of my head!.

Meat!? Why do you need Meat!? Why!? People say protein and heme Iron!? Protein is gained from everything in your diet!. The same amount of beans has more than the same amount of meat!. Without the bad stuff!.

But back to your topic being vegan is more healthy because you stay away from all animal products including eggs and liquid meats (cholesterol, saturated fats) are gone and you can find everything good that animal products have else where except heme iron!. Which is only a better absorbed iron, and you can find iron elsewhere!.

Now we know "why" eating a vegan diet has more potential of being a healthier diet because you can eat only peas and be vegan!. It all comes down to balance!.

Now if anyone thinks otherwise please in the name of God!. Explain why!. We all would greatly appreciate it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Can be unhealthy, or healthy!. The vegans I know have to constantly watch what they eat and either cook for themselves or buy specialized foods because it's very difficult to find pre made foods that don't have dairy in them!. It's a lot of work!. But if you do it right it can be very healthy!.

also, if you eat meat, you should consider being vegetarian before you take the leap to vegan!. It's tricky to figure out what you need to eat in either case, and if you're cutting 90% of things out of your diet instead of 45%, it's a lot harder, and you could be setting yourself up to fail I also know a few people whose bodies were thrown for a loop by trying to go straight to vegan, but that may have been because they weren't eating the right things!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Vegan is better than vegetarian!. It is a low fat diet, and everyone knows the benefit of that!. Vegans fat comes from nuts, which have fiber, so that's good!.
There are so many articles on how bad milk is for a person, one even says it causes osteoporosis!.
Eggs are high in colesterol, and Cheese is bad, because it's fatty!.
Animals are usually housed in less than hoped for conditions!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Being vegan is not automatically bad for your health!. It can be an unhealthy diet, just like any other diet, or it can be very healthy, just like any other diet!. I'm vegan and, since becoming vegan, have eaten much better than I ever did as either meat-eater or vegetarian!. Most cookies, cakes, ice creams, etc!. can't be eaten by vegans, so there's less of that type of junk, but there can still be chips and such!. As for not getting proteins needed, which I've found is what most people believe vegans don't get!? Nuts and beans are wonderful sources of protein!. Being vegan is not automatically bad for you, and people who believe it is haven't looked into it at all!.

As for which is better, vegetarian or vegan, it depends on the person!. I personally like being vegan better than vegetarian!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Depends on your reasons!. Purely on a compassionate level, vegan is better!. For ease of nutritional balance and eating in western society vegetarian is more practical!. The health benefits can be argued for either option endlessly (vegans don't have the saturated fats and cholesterol while vegetarians have an easier time with some fat soluble nutrients)!. I consume organic dairy products as a personal decision but do not consume flesh and try to avoid eggs!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Both are good choices but it is really your choice!.
As a vegan you don't eat/drink any dairy products and I don't think you eat anything that has to do with animals but I am not sure!.
It DOES not mean poor hunter in any Indian Language if you thought what the person that said that was true!.

I don't think that being a vegan is a bad thing at all!. Either choice is going to require some research and discussion with your doctor to be sure you have take in enough of the essential vitamins and minerals!. I was fortunate to find a small family owned health food store near my office!. The owners have been wonderful resources for me - pointing me toward high nutrient foods and ancient grains!.

I think vegan is better!.
because my mom was a vegatarian for 18 years and now for 2 years already she switched to vegan and it really helped!.
but it gets hard when it comes to foods at restuaraunts and not having what you eat!.
but you get really used to it!.
the only problem is that my mom is 44 but wears only 99 pounds and i think its bc of the diet!.
but she does have some anxiety thing so idk haha

In my opinion a vegetarian diet is best!. You get a much bigger variety of foods to choose from!. A vegetarian can have dairy, eggs, honey and fish, vegans get none!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

puppy love is wrong!. drinking cows milk does hurt the cow!. firstly a cow can only produce milk if they have a calf, as that is why they make it for there baby calf to drink, but does the calf get to drink its mothers milk, NO!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

being a vegan u dont get as much protein as being a vegetarian!.Vegetarians can pretty much still eat junk foods and not be as healthy as their looking forward to being a vegan is prob!. healthier or better because their getting alot of nutritionWww@FoodAQ@Com

Vegetarian because when milk is taken from a cow it doesn't hurt them in fact if you don't milk a cow they can get mastitis and become very ill so it can do more harm then good!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
