Vegetarians mistake...?!
im a vegetarian and am against wearing fashion made from animals!. i bought these very nice black suede boots a few weeks ago!. i just was told that suede is a form of leather, and it's made from the outside skin of animals or something!.!. i did not know this before!. i really like the boots, but i also feel very bad about buying boots made from animals!. i cant return the boots because theyve been worn too much!. what should i do now!? i like the boots and spent 150$ on them and can't afford new ones, but i feel guilty about having to kill an innocent just so i can have nice footwear!.!.!.

wear your nice new boots, you didn't know, and if anyone questions your morals tell them the truth!. just learn from your mistake!. i wear a lot of leather products i bought before i realised the cruelty involved, and do not feel guilty because i didn't know any better!. just like people who eat meat often don't feel guilty because they don't know the truth of what happens in the industry!.
also in response to the user who said skins are a byproduct of meat; more often than not the animals used for leather etc are killed only for their leather and are not the same animals that provide meat!.
also, since when do veggies use slaughter byproducts!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Don't worry we all do it! All of my expensive leather shoes were bought pre-vegetarian and I can't bear to sell them because I would lose so much money that I saved and saved to by gorgeous expensive boots so I made a decision to keep everything pre-veg and decided on not buying leather as much as possible going forward!.
Not much worrying about it after the fact! And it is indeed getting harder and harder - even cheap shoes are made of leather now (and who wants to walk around in crocs everywhere!?!)Www@FoodAQ@Com

You unknowingly purchased it, it's okey!. But if you want to use them, it's up to you how you provoke the public controversy!. Neither give them to anyone if you too feel taboo to wear them!. Keep them as "memento" or "reminder" for future!. I ever bought a leather camel branded wallet 15 years ago but still keeping it until now!. It's only non-vegan product in my possession!. It always provoke the opportunity for people to ask me "are u still a vegan", and the whole conversation on veganism starts there!. I'm a vegan, yet i'm saying this!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Returning the boots won't make them back into a cow!. But now you know what suede is!. Don't worry so much about the past, just don't make the mistake again in the future!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
You might as well put them to good use since you already bought them!. Or give them away if you won't wear them!. Throwing them out would accomplish nothing!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Sweetie just wear the boots!. The cow was killed for its meat, the boots are just a byproduct!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
