There are lots of vegan vitamins at http://www!.veganessentials!.com - but I don't know about the sulfate thing, you'd have to check that yourself!. I take Deva brand, which are available there!.
If you have a Whole Foods, check there too!. Mine stocks at least half a dozen vegetarian brands, but I didn't see a vegan one (several had lanolin-based vitamin D!.)Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm a vegetarian, and I take a lot of precautions towards hidden animal products in ingredient labels!.
I take prenatal vitamins as my regular multivitamin, and I have for years!.
I don't BELIEVE there are any animal products in the ones I take - some might be hidden, you know how that can be - I have checked and don't see any ingredients that look animal related, but there is certainly no sulfur OR sulfates!.
It's generic Walgreens brand prenatal multivitamins!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Vitamins are unregulated in the USA, thanks to the 1995 Hatch Act!. There are no guarantees from any brand saying it is "animal free"!. Many scandals and actions from the FTC over tainted, even poisonous products marked as "organic" or "No animal products" have and are happening!. Some pretty nasty stuff, including high levels of mercury and other heavy metals along with bits of insects and even bat guano have been found in products!.
In blind studies, One A Day still ranks tops!. This is from an independent lab, Consumer Labs, whose researchers do not know what brands they are testing!.
I think you mean you are allergic to the antibiotic sulfa, which is prescription only!. Sulfates are indeed quite different!. Ask the pharmacist to explain!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Most health stores/homeopathic places will have more vegetarian options than a typical drugstore!.Skip the One-a-Day, since a lot of their vitamin tablets contain gelatin! Right now, I'm taking one by Country Life, which proclaims itself to be "appropriate for vegans", but it needs to be taken 4x a day!. It has iron, along with a lot of B!. Rainbow Light makes several one-a-day vitamins that are vegetarian, too!. IMO- they taste a bit funky, but if you are eating them with food, it's not a big deal!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
